Until very recently I was very sure that everybody wants LSF as a closer but I keep seeing people who prefer Fire, shall we have a poll? They also used to close the set with Club Foot in early days and I've seen two short sets in 2009-2010 when they closed with Vlad (which was very weird). Has there been another closer? Which one do you prefer? Or which song you'd want to have in the end?

I didn't mind Fire at all when it was used to end the set, but hearing L.S.F. back there just feels right.
Special mention for the customary Edwards/Karloff switch!

LSF all the way. I didn't appreciate it enough all the years it was the closer, and when it was gone I wanted it back. I think my "problem" with Fire was that they were never really sure about what to do with it. I think the ending/reprise was different at every gig and sometimes quite messy, whereas LSF is a proper ritual. It works, the singalong works better. They never quite got there with Fire. I used to like it so much more in the early days, and when it became the last song I would always skip it, and I realised I prefer it when it has a proper ending and not this reprise nonsense where nobody knows what they're supposed to do. But that's not something I contemplate while I'm at a gig.

Voted for LSF. I think Fire should be the last song before the encore.

LSF to close the set, Doberman before the encore

LSF everytime for me. I love that it leaves you with the La La Laaa's running through your head as you walk out the venue.
I would have said Fire before the encore, but I'm loving crazy horse's suggestion of Doberman before the encore.
My one wish for the arena tour is that Doberman is re-introduced to the set in full.

I never used to stay for Fire ,and LSF didn't seem right as the last song before the encore. With the next tour hopefully they might mix it up with a completely different encore .Obviously with LSF at the end though.

I love the LSF singalong so much, and like highroyds was saying, Fire singalong is messy while LSF was a like a proper religious ritual, you know when it's going to kick back in and when Gary starts playing again, it's so euphoric. I've seen Fire as a closer so many times, I still have no idea how the reprise goes and what's happening. I think Fire is such a big, gorgeous song, it'll stand out anywhere in the set. The Doberman before the encore is a lovely idea, I also miss Club Foot/Stuntman before the encore merging into each other. Speaking of Chris / Karloff switch, do we know the exact date Chris started playing the bass on Club Foot? They were still swapping places with Jay in 2007 but not during the West Ryder tour but I'm not sure about 2008.

I think they should vary it so you get a surprise.

L.S.F. Once you hear that as a set closer nothing else can suffice.

So as it stands 13 votes to 1 in favour of LSF, that's what they call a lansdlide victory.

I think Cutt Off would be a great set closer.

LSF. And Stuntman as the song before it. I think they should do something like this though: Main set: ... Club Foot
Encore 1: Vlad Fire
Encore 2: SS Stuntman LSF. Would be pretty glorious if they did it.

Anyone else wish that Kasabian would end live performances on a different song? Or is it just me!! I was in Taormina on Wednesday and the concert and venue were amazing but I just don't think Fire had the usual impact. So many other great songs they could end with.
