Is it worth having? How good is the sound? Maybe it's worth waiting for the Leicester gig cd?

Do you mean the one that comes with the DVD or the one from the other day?
The Leicester gig might not be released at all. There's lots of conflicting information at the moment.

There's 2 O2 ones. One is with a DVD and one is by concert live of which was a limited edition. The one with the DVD hasnt got all the songs from that gig on it ,Empire is missing for instance but its worth buying. Also the concert live one doesn't sound as good quality wise ,to me anyway maybe someone else can comment on this but it does play the full setlist.Personally I would get the cd/DVD one that's the concert that they showed at the cinemas a couple of years ago.

Live! was recorded on the 14th. DVD on the 15th. DVD has the full set and comes with a CD of 13 songs. (Japanese edition comes with a double CD containing all the songs, if you can find one.) 3 songs on Live! are taken from the gig on the 15th, though: Thick as Thieves, Take Aim and Club Foot. Live! was initially supposed to be released by Concert Live as part of a series of 9 live recordings of the 2011 arena tour, starting from Brighton, but there was a major fuck up and long story short, they scrapped the whole thing after two gigs and decided to give the first O2 gig on the 14th a proper high quality release, and that's Live. I like it a lot, but I like most things. It depends what you're looking for, I think the DVD is a must have anyway because it's the band's first official live DVD, but musically they're very similar of course (the only difference in the setlist is Man of Simple Pleasures vs I Hear Voices) and if you only want audio of a full gig, get the other one. I'm not an expert on sound quality but what I do know is that the band made sure it was done properly for that one.
I'll move this thread into the music section because it's more about the releases than the gigs.
