Hi,
New member on this forum but long time fan of Kasabian.
Been a Kasabian fan since 2004 when they played on the Love Music Hate Racism gig in Stoke on Trent ten years ago.
I have seen the band live many times since then and watched them grow in to the phenomenon they are now. It only cost me £5 to see them all those years ago and how times have changed.
I have never ever had the pleasure of meeting any of the band and would love to see the gigs later this year at a different angle so to speak and hopefully for the first time ever get to meet the band or at least one of them.
Apart from entering competitions does anumybody have any idea how you can get access to backstage passes or how to be put on a vip guest list.
Any help would be most appreciated.

The easiest way to meet the band is to wait for them after the gig. There is no way to get backstage access unless you are a part of the working crew or know the band, except in very rare cases of special events where you might be able to win a meet and greet. Kasabian don't have any VIP ticket options that include meeting the band like certain other bands might have, the closest thing to that I've seen was a so called VIP package that included something like better seats and a snack and had nothing to do with the band. Even being on the guest list for a gig won't get you access to them, it's basically nothing more than a free ticket. In the unlikely event that you manage to get backstage at a venue somehow, there's still no guarantee that the band will have time for you. My advice is to find the back door and wait afterwards, they are usually more than happy to sign things and take pictures with people if they see them waiting. If they don't there's probably a good reason, they might be very tired or in a hurry. Good luck!
