Was at The Kooks last night, hadnt seen them for six years.
They played a mix of old and new songs. Fantastic visuals on display.
It was Luke's birthday so there was a Happy birthday Luke message on screen and crowd sang to them.
Good first gig of the year.
Will post photos once I find out how to get on proboards app.

ooh are those the guys who were horrible about Kasabian? You both should turn up in Kasabian t-shirts then! I'm not that brave. And I'm sure our boys can take that. Seeing, as they like that slagging off game also ... I'm curious, because I still can't help feeling a bit of "the emperor's new clothes" about the Sleafords, but I do enjoy some of their tracks and people have been quite euphoric about their live shows. And I'm p...d off that this year really ev-er-y-bo-dy I'd love to see, so far, ignore my lovely city. So, there you have it, I'm gonna cheat on them (and Noel and all the other ignorers) with the Sleafords!  Of course there's other European cities, but I cannot travel around Europe as much as I'd like. Especially as those I'd like to see won't even come a little bit nearer to me, say, Southern Germany. |

I do like The Strokes, but it's actually nearly everyone from Beck and below I'm most looking forward to seeing. Temples, Public Service Broadcasting, Gengahr, The Wytches, Yak, Future Islands, ALL bands I really like  |
