How could you ask me to do such a thing,i would never ever, ever do such a thing,to give up my beautiful tickets to see Biffy.Especially in a 1500 venue. But have a very happy birthday and enjoy the ARCTICS.

What a toss week. Shite birthday, Tom Odell cancels on Wednesday, and now Arctics have cancelled for Saturday. And to top it all, they've gone and re-arrangd it for the night we're seeing Reef in Manchester.
So now i'm into swapping Reef Manc tickets for Brum (fortunately not sold out), and cancelling and rearranging hotels (assuming Premier Inn will let me swap - we didn't go for the flexible option...)
Alex, i'm not a happy bunny mate. Sort yer fecking tonsils out or whatever.

Adding to my gig list for this week is Thirty seconds to Mars.I really don't like their music but my friend bought 2 tickets and even though she knows my thoughts I agreed to go as she wouldn't go by herself and she would of just thrown the tickets away, And she did joke that I would probably be deaf from QOTSA so I wouldn't really hear them anyway and support is you me at six ! Now that's what I call a double blow.

Going to see Gary's band, The Duval Project, supporting Roy Ayers in Jazz Cafe in December, very excited! Ang1 your post made me laugh a bit but you are a good friend for going to see a band you don't like! Or maybe they'll make your change your opinion. In any case, have fun!

1.Beady eye were on top form 2.Qotsa were legendary with I appear missing making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up all the way through and nearly 9 minutes long .A perfect setlist and the best encore I and my ears have witnessed.Faultless. 3.Thirty seconds to mars.Well has my oppinion changed ?yes it has ,they are even more crappier.Over 30 mins late and it felt like the band were cult like really weird. And it seemed Jared Leto was on a big ego trip with fans sitting at his feet I just didn't get it.It was flat and thank god for my ear plugs. At the end we heard people saying that's the best concert I've been to and my friend replied ,well you haven't seen Kasabian then.My friend was happy to see them but even she said it was a bit meh..

Jake Bugg is playing a show in Sydney in April, but I'm undecided if I should go or not. Tickets are on sale Wednesday. The main reason why I'm undecided is because I don't really know much of his material (I've listened to his first album once ), but I'm worried that I'll start to love his stuff and I'll regret not seeing him if I miss him this time around. Ugh. I'm so bad at making decisions.

My only reserve on Jake Bugg is that i saw him when he supported NGHFB and he was a little ghostly on stage.. dead-still, zero energy it was really weird at a point actually. hope he improved it a little since last year hehe. @cassie listen to Shangri La and then you'll decide

He's changed his act significantly. Highlight of the gig was when he moonwalked across the stage in a Borat mankini whilst doing a cover version of Dancing Queen.

haha nice one... there's is a safety margin between moonwalking and looking like a sleeping ghost really. Noel doesn't do exactly the show himself, does he? i'm not asking for it but you know .. just to show the crowd that you're aware you're onstage and to open at least one eye is a good point for me

Sorry He interacted with the crowd a number of times, but I can't say he was overly mobile or demonstrative. But I kinda expected that and it didn't detract from the gig for me. The crowd were well up for it so the energy was there.

as i said I saw him as support act for Noel so i'm sure it's different especially as most of the crowd didn't know him (yet). and as you see, it didn't dissuade me from seeing him again, if my legs allows me
