The YouTube clip was a disgrace. It looked like it was shot from a 3 MP camera. And the voice was being distorted

True, but no one else was recording? I expected many links. BTW, if Treat gets a music video, I would love to see Mr. Bean a.k.a. Sir Rowan Atkinson in it dancing. Weird fantasy, but I think will suit well.

True, but no one else was recording? I expected many links. I know, I'm a bit surprised by the lack of footage in general. I expected much more from Paris, or when they started playing Stevie. There was so much from the UK warm up tour in 2011, when they played Velociraptor and Switchblade for the first time, by the time I got home and uploaded my videos it was old news. I guess nowadays people prefer to record those irritating 3-second Instagram videos instead of full songs. |

I was really surprised at the lack of new stuff especially with the amount of gigs that they have done .And as mentioned why bother recording anything less than 1 minute ?,and it's always Fire ,LSF, or Underdog.

I really do understand the frustration... but I kinda agree with the band on this whole thing, everyone wants things NOW! The one vid for Treat that is mentioned in this thread, I think I know who's that is, a young girl who was having the time of her life at the gig, and too busy enjoying herself (as it should be) to record it in high quality. I heard the soundcheck for Treat, but I don't want to seek out any other version of it until I hear it on the album,so it remains, a (wait for it) Treat.
Edited to add, I'm just as guilty as everyone else for wanting to hear new things asap. But there's something about Treat for me, I already know it has the lines "everyone knows I work it, I work it like a treat" (as far as I know) and that is EXACTLY the kind of thing I love, so I really do want to make Treat a treat!

With a bit of luck, this'll be the new jam track. Reminds me of Lucid Dreams by Franz Ferdinand in structure, and even the outro on Cutt Off.
Big hip-hop flavour.

I love Cutt Off outro so much, it's basically the favourite part of my favourite song and nothing has ever made me feel the same way until the Treat outro. Absolutely gorgeous song and I'm already so worried that they wont play it in full live. |
