Cooking Soup are celebrating 20 Years of Definitely Maybe with a massive party at London Scala on 30.8.14
Oasis UK will play a full 94 set and other tunes. The band have been officially recognised by Liam as the best about and they use the same visuals as Oasis did on last tours. They are planning on having a special unique 1994 display just for this event.
Support will come from Blurd (the finest blur tribute about). This lets us also pay homage to 20 years of Britpop.
Phil Smith, The official Oasis and NHFBs DJ, will dj before the band. Phil will also be displaying a lot of his early Oasis memorabilia and this stuff blows anything from the exhibition away !!!
There will be 3 rooms with DJ's from all over the last 20 decades. We have influential music blog Gigslutz's very own head honcho Mackem Steve, Camden's best club, Cool Britannia, Jess and for one night only John Sterne brings back seminal London indie COME TOGETHER.CJ was also resident at It, Where its at and Collide-a-scope. More Dj's to be added playing all the anthems from Madchester, Britpop and beyond.
We are pleased to also have a room curated by Wonderwall's Fabio. This is Europe's biggest Oasis night and Bonehead is a regular guest at their Italian events.
