So it looks like the "Malted Milk" video features some elements of "beanz"!
I'm glad that's the case, quite like the chorus-y part.

I thought it's so cool to play an unreleased b-side at their first gig. I loved it immediately, it somehow reminded me of swarfiga, it's the same sort of intense electronic track. Reminded of Last Trip too, probably beacuse of repeating 'this feeling' part.
I also love that both of them sing together for this song, can't wait for the release and I hope it'll be on the vinyl too.

Until now i liked Beanz the most of 4 songs i heard. Of course based on LQ youtube (live from Paris) and mp3 sources, but still. It might be another "why not on the album" case, as Kasabian traditionally have with each album;)

They'll probably do it like the Velociraptor singles, vinyl for the collectors, digital for everyone else. They haven't released a CD single since WDATLG in 2009.

I agree with that strategy as well, bands/artists simply don't put out CD singles any more (or at least very few of them do), you're definitely more likely to see a vinyl release for every single (hopefully signed like the last lot). If you want the singles on CD, you'll have to buy the promo's off Ebay when they become available. |
