I've just started listening to the new album, halfway through the first track. Very beautiful, very emotional and sounds totally like Shine On. jayfreeman I was wondering what you think about it I only listened to it on Spotify, the CD will come this week i think. But it is already clear that this is more than i expected. Really smooth progressive rock, Pink Floyd trademark. Maybe a little lack of vocals, but it does make this album different and special. At the moment i would give it 8 out of 10.

Just listened to it on the CD - great album. To me it is the second best album of 2014 after 48:13.

I agree, it's much better than I thought it'll be, although I'm find it a bit hard to listen to a 100% instrumental album after first half an hour. it reminds me of Wish You Were Here and The Wall a lot actually, and not Division Bell. Could have been a bit shorter and would have been even more beautiful with some vocals.

I see what you mean with Wish You Were Here and the Wall, especially Run Like Hell and Shine On, and also something from Animals i cannot identify. You said before that you like vocal in songs, so it makes sense;) But to me a lot of instrumentals is not a problem, because i am looking for trance in music, and how they deliver it does not really matter. But it is true that The Endless River builds up slowly, but somewhere in the middle it gets pretty euphoric, so it is absolutely worth the while!

New song from David, apparently inspired by a jingle from French train station announcements. The album will be out in September.
Predicatably beautiful and moving:
