What are your favourite albums of 2013 so far? Or is there something that has yet to be released that you're excited for?

My favourites so far this year are ...Like Clockwork by Queens of the Stone Age and AM by Arctic Monkeys. Both masterpieces in my opinion and I'm so excited that both bands will be touring Australia next year!

I do like Desensitized, but it's not as mind blowing as I expected it to be, I think I need to listen to it a few more times. I really like "Ether", but "Brain" is still my favourite. How about you?

I really wanted to like it but it's not my thing at all. It's a bit of a shame because I like to distract myself with vaguely Kasabian-related bands during Kasabian breaks.
My personal favourite was Trouble Will Find Me by The National, absolutely stunning just like all of their albums.

Pretty much the same feelings like you and highroyds - I was hoping it's better than it proved to be. I need to listen more probably (listening now actually), liked Human Animals and Trip B most, Brain is good too although the vid was too weird. |

I like "Desensitized" very much. I was looking forward to that album a lot, ever since "ISO", which still is my favorite here. But there are a lot of great songs.

My fav album of 2013 is Mechanical Bull by Kings of Leon  I love that band soooo much and I'd like to see them! I really hope they'll come to Italy, because they're my fav band #2, after Kasabian obviously  Other albums I liked are AM by the Arctic Monkeys and Don't forget who you are by Miles Kane |

I'm also very much enjoying "BE" by Beady Eye and looking forward to the new one from Pearl Jam next month.
Also, if we're speaking of album released this year, New Order "Live at Bestival".

My favourite so far is Delta Machine by Depeche Mode. After all these years they still touch my soul. I feel at home when I listen to them. Another 2013 album I really love is AM by Arctic Monkeys. I haven't listened to Desensitized yet. To be honest I don't know if I ever will.

Favourite new album, at the moment at least, is probably Hobo Rocket by Pond.

Manic Street Preachers - Rewind the Film. The supporting tour has been amazing too.
