I went with "Let's roll" live it something eerie about it sounds like the dead is rising make me think of the hooded mutants/zombies from The Omega Man
Then "Green fairy" and as my 3rd "re-wired" seeing them live made me appreciate that one more

I love switchblade smiles but by god I wish it was mixed better! If it was on 48:13 I think it would have got the treatment it deserves.

It's the album's 3rd birthday today and I'm getting back into Days Are Forgotten.

Of all their albums, this is the one that I never had the need to skip a song. Plus, the mood/theme of their tours during the release of this album gives an intense rock and roll feel out of all their tours, imo. Or, maybe I just got carried away because I love black, red and white.

Birthday bump!
Are everyone's favourites still the same as when the album came out? (You can change your votes in the poll btw if that's the case!) I remember that I Hear Voices was probably my least favourite at first, but then it really grew on me.

Switchblade Smiles remains my favourite. It's up there with best songs they've done and is awesome live.

Switchblade Smiles remains my favourite. It's up there with best songs they've done and is awesome live. I'm just having it on my computer playlist and have to say that it's awesome on the record as well. You know that when you are sitting in front of your computer and watch yourself punching the air in between typing. Certainly my favorite as well! I switch(blade)d for the 3rd one from "Re-Wired" to "Days are forgotten".

This album is the hardest for me to chose my favourites from. I do have 2-3 firm favourites for the rest of the albums but I'm looking at my original choices (Sbs, Acid Turkish Bath, Let's Roll), and it could have easyly been Neon Noon, Days, Goodbye Kiss. Such an amazing record, I used to find it funny when Serge kept calling it a 'jukebox record' but it is. Everything on it is gorgeous.

This was like trying to choose which 3 of my 11 kids get to live live while the others die. I cannot stress enough just how much I love this album. But after much deliberation, I would have to say: Switchblade Smiles, Velociraptor!, and Re-Wired. The quiet moments on this album are bar none the best ones they've done in their career so far, but when they turn everything up to 11 when you least expect it's even better

Actually, yea I have to change Re-Wired to Days Are Forgotten. That ending is the reason why no one will ever be able to ape their style
So much love for all the other songs though! It really is a perfect album from start to finish

Switchblade Smiles Re-Wired La Fee Verte
These were hard choices. Switchblade Smiles is the 2nd best song they've ever made IMO so that one was easy. Re-Wired is just so funky and huge. That ending jam out is magical. La Fee Verte paints such vivid pictures in my head. Yet another one with an epic closeout.
Just to make it very clear: until the release of FCOL, this was my favorite album of theirs. Only thing even remotely close to a "bad" song on here is GK and it's still pretty great!

Switchblade Smiles the most popular by a fair margin. Hope it comes back on set list for summer. It's a massive song.
