Women's Euro Final 2022

Does anyone know whether this happened? I'm seeing a few comments on Twitter from earlier saying they'll be on at halftime but then nothing about them actually being on at halftime. I watched the whole thing but obviously not the BBC coverage, I got a riveting interview with Olaf Scholz.

I’ve just read some of the tweets, they are getting slated 😬 I kind of understand the point about having a female band (or at least female fronted). Such a shame all the domestic violence references…it’s going to be a long time for them to shake that label.

They don't deserve that. I saw something like "is THAT guy still in the band?" yesterday. When you found out he was that guy he already wasn't in the band anymore. What did they kick him out for if people are just going to condemn them forever for having had him in the band once? What else could they have done?

Also a lot of misinformation, people are saying they only sacked him after the news broke, implying it was because of public backlash. They announced it 8 hours before the news broke. Was their first statement (Tom is leaving for personal reasons) misleading? Yes. But they also said in the follow up that they had to hold back the information before the court date.

I completely agree that a female band should have been chosen btw. Having their performance somewhere in between as part of multiple acts would have made more sense, but as the big finale? Meh.
