Barbara Charone, who runs Kasabian's PR agency, has just released her memoir Access All Areas. I don't know if Kasabian feature in any way in the book, but I think it sounds like an interesting read regardless. In September Rock Legends at Rockfield by Jeff Collins will be re-released. It was originally published in 2007 and includes an interview with Jim Abbiss about the Empire recording sessions at Rockfield.

Barbara Charone's book was 3.99 on Kindle so I treated myself. If you're hoping for some hot Kasabian goss, don't bother, they feature very briefly. She's been with them since just before West Ryder, there is a bit about how they were perceived in the beginning, how that changed with the success of West Ryder and then an anecdote about IoW 2011.
She's certainly had an interesting career, so if you're interested in that aspect of the music industry it might be worth reading. I was also curious about what kind of person she is, because we've had our issues with how Kasabian's business is handled sometimes.
Has anyone else read it?
