After thinking about it for a while I decided to close Kasabian Empire's bootleg blog onetwo-onetwo. I haven't been enjoying it lately and it wasn't an easy decision, but I don't want to do anything that is a constant source of frustration. I don't want to go into too much detail, but recording, editing and uploading those files takes a lot of time. And I liked doing it, but if the only responses you ever get is either "It's not good enough, that one song skips" or people simply stealing what you put a lot of effort in and taking all the credit, with some of them even trying to sell the bootlegs on ebay, you start to ask yourself what you're doing it for. Another thing I was concerned about are Tumblr's ever-changing policies - I don't want to risk my other blogs in case they ever decided to suspend onetwo-onetwo.
The blog is not gone, I just removed all the content for now. Maybe one day I will feel inspired again, who knows. More importantly, the recordings are not gone. Because I'm not completely heartless, just a little bit, and I know how I feel being denied things that I know exist somewhere out there, and because I still plan on making them in the future, I just have to come up with a better way of sharing them with people. In the next couple of days I'll set up something in the media section (members only, so if you're reading this as a guest you'll have to register to access it) so in case you're looking for something specific you can contact me and we'll figure something out.
