They are on Later With Jools Holland (from Ian’s Instagram) I assume this week? Although I just checked and it doesn’t say they’re listed this week, so maybe next week…

Yikes. Truly horrifying vocals throughout. Serge's moves are just.... too much. It's all so unnatural. Someone make it stop.

Just listened to SCRIPTVRE and found it lovely, the vocals were really similar to the studio version, Almost everyone in the band got involved too and I also loved that the instruments were "louder". It's never going to sound as it used to with Tom missing but that sounded good too in my opinion. OMW to ALYGATYR.

They’ve changed the format/timings on Jools so they only get 2 tracks now instead of the 3 they used to get which is a shame. ALYGATYR was ok (but would have preferred CHEMICALS) and enjoyed SCRIPTVRE, although Serge’s energy only really works when there’s a crowd. I think as time goes on he’ll calm it down a bit and realise you don’t always need to go mental and it’s just as enjoyable for people watching him perform if he stays still for more than a millisecond!

They've done a good job in my opinion. Last time Serge performed as SLP on Jools, the mixing was awful. So I'm happy they sounded like a proper live band this time. The only missing part on SCRIPTVRE is the strings. I get it when people isn't used to see Serge go full energy since we were used to see him with guitar not bouncing around all the time. But I would like to appreciate his guts to take over the frontman role. His tour with SLP was short so I think he's still trying to figure out how to perform his new role better. Even if they got a new frontman, I believe they'd still get the sticks from no Tom no party army. Yes it's different compared to Kasabian we know for nearly 20 years but I'm grateful they keep making music and go on tour.

Really enjoyed both songs, liked ALYGATYR more than I did in Brixton, and SCRIPTVRE was predictably excellent.
