My vote goes to West Ryder Silver Bullet. But to be honest all songs deserve 10 out of 10.

Secret Alphabets is one of the best things they've ever done. The mood and atmosphere it conjures up is incredible. Real shame that they seemingly gave up on it during the WRPLA Arena Tour and replaced it with Last Trip (I think it was?)

Real shame that they seemingly gave up on it during the WRPLA Arena Tour and replaced it with Last Trip (I think it was?) Last Trip didn't replace it, they were alternating it with West Ryder Silver Bullet until Sheffield. I don't think it worked the way they were hoping for, it's probably a bit too quiet for a big arena crowd. I'd love to see them play an acoustic version someday.

I picked Fast Fuse, Silver Bullet, and Vlad.
Silver Bullet is one of my favorite Kasabian songs and one of my favorite love songs of all time. It's so sweet and gentle, the guitars and bass and those little tingly effects really make it romantic. You could make a movie out of that song.
Fast Fuse and Vlad are great because they're maybe the 2 songs out of Kasabian's entire discography with the loudest bass. I always love bass-driven songs, when the bass is in your face.
I would've said Cunny Grope Lane too, I've always loved that song (along with other b-sides from that era Road Kill Café and Julie & the Moth Man)

I just looked at the poll and am a bit surprised to see that Vlad is leading with 9 votes and Fire has only 1, I thought they're both equally loved.

I have to say I loved Fire a lot more when the album first came out. Now they play it at every single gig I've gone off it a bit. I like it better when it's not at the end anyway, when it starts and it ends and then we move on. I want to make a petition to put LSF back at the end, because they never truly knew what they're doing with Fire. Reprise, no reprise, when to start again, the singalong, the ridiculous sitting down. Vlad never got boring.

That one vote for Fire is mine;) I had a difficult time choosing three songs from 11 favourites, but did include Fire in the end. Among other reasons because it has strong esoteric effect every time i hear it. Not a lot of songs have such a feature. But i do understand why Fire did not get a lot of voices. Simply because it has become a big hit and too famous (also thanks to English Premiership). Hardcore fans (the most of the members of this forum) usually do not pick well known hits as their favorites. Just because everybody is already talking about those hits, but real fans are obliged to know that there is more to their band. Try to ask a general music fan about the best Springsteen's song. They will probably name "Born in the USA" or "Working on the Dream" or something. Ask the same question to a hardcore Springsteen fan, and he will say "Lost in the Flood", "Jungeland", "Atlantic City" or some other song you have probably never heard of. Or - a general music fan will name "Bittersweet Symphony" as the best The Verve song, and a hardcore fan will pick any other song but this. I can think of many more examples, but you got the idea...

I don't think people necessarily pick their favourites based on how much they can impress other people with their knowledge of obscure songs. Also, Underdog and Vlad are leading in the poll, and they're two of their biggest songs. You're probably right insofar as people who don't know the band well might only know a handful of the most popular songs, but a "real" fan knows all the b-sides and has more to choose from, and maybe they love Black Whistler more than LSF. But the biggest Kasabian fan can still have Club Foot as their favourite song because it's a great song, so why not? It doesn't make them less legitimate. I wish Club Foot was my favourite because then I would have 200 different live versions of it on my computer and not three.

I wish Club Foot was my favourite because then I would have 200 different live versions of it on my computer and not three. No, i did not mean fans do that to impress others;) What i meant is that people often make a subconcious choice towards songs that are more exclusive for their favourite artist. While most of the hits are more "general", if you know what i mean. To give you another example - "Regular John" is one of the best QoTSA songs, but it is not typically "their" song. It could have been a Foo Fighters song as well. But things like "Better Living Through Chemistry" or "First it Giveth" are more exclusive, and that is why more popular among hardcore fans. And songs like "Vlad..." or "Take Aim" or "Underdog" are responsible for shape of Kasabian music. While "Fire" works on more levels - you do not have to be a Kasabian fan to like it. So with other words, hardcore fans choose less hits just because they know the band better than general audience. I hope this makes it more clear.

Where Did All The Love Go? Vlad the Impaler Fire

So hard this album is the best one of my top albums of all time I find zero faults in it.
Secret Alphabets is my favorite song of the bands career it reminds me of the dawn of man and the trudging along of civilization the building of the pyramids it gives me a feeling few songs can & few songs excite my imagination like this one does... It also reminds me slightly of a song from Final Fantasy 7 so it brings back fond memories of being 13.
Where did all the love go? Just a all around great song great lyrics too always a bit of a trip to listen to
Fire... Because its like pizza it's awesome if you eat pizza everyday cause its that good you can get a bit sick of pizza & thats your own fault.... after a long time of eating it take a few days off pizza then go out with friends get drunk have a slice of pizza and fall in love with it all over again, back on the pizza wagon pizza everyday. A endless cycle. Sorry to compare it to pizza but it's the most delicious satisfying greasy deep dish pizza. I remember hearing it before West Ryder came out to and being super excited to hear the rest of the album so it was a bit like opening a door before you walk into a amazing room
Every song has been a favorite at one point but if I had to boil it down I can't go wrong with these 3

Not as difficult as choosing 3 from Velociraptor! but not easy by any stretch of the imagination either.
Thinking about it for a few minutes it came down to: Vlad The Impaler, Secret Alphabets, and Fast Fuse.
Fast Fuse hits you like a mosh pit of surf rock that's been soaked in booze and LSF. It just plain rocks.
Secret Alphabets is so weird and beautiful and mysterious. A movie plays in my head every time I listen to it. If I could somehow translate that movie to actual film, I'm pretty sure I'd be a millionaire over night.
Silver Bullet may technically be the centerpiece of the album but to me, Vlad is the song that really holds it all together. After being lulled into a false sense of security by the 3 tracks before it, suddenly everything is thrown off kilter as early Daft Punk-esque guitar kicks in and the bass gets fuzzier than Cousin It. The build up to that final drop is like a bomb ticking down. Finally, the drums and synth carry us all out into parts unknown with excitement for the album's further potential at its highest
