I am going, I already have my concert ticket in my hand, flights, and accommodation booked, I even have some Swiss francs from a friend. My first concert with Kasabian was at Taormina, Sicily recently. I made some good friends, contacted through our forum. I enjoyed the whole city break and concert package, I had to, and needed to do it again. I saw your post for monteux on here after viewing the full concert at Monteux on YouTube, I have watched it numerous times already. We didn't have Bubblebee at Taormina. I will be hoping the guys can repeat a similar set piece, as I'm aiming ti be at the front, centre- mosh pit territory. π I'm sure they won't let me down ππ»

Right guys, I'm all set for my little adventure to Zurich. I have some Swiss francs in my pocket and my crying out loud t-shirt to wear with pride. I'm going to get to the venue nice early, my accommodation isn't far away. The plan is to get a good view of the lads when they come on stage, I suppose at that point I'll be swallowed up by the masses! Rock on. π

Thanx Lindas...Taormina, Sicily seems so long ago, and what a fantastic venue that was. So I've arrived here in Zurich, π¨π the venue Halle 66 is about a 100meters from the SBahn Station, Oerlikon. Red carpet has been laid out up to the front door, and I was amazed when the staff allowed me to go into the venue, I walked through the two tandom rooms and touch the stage. ππ» It is a small venue, with a balcony, with seats I guess. Nobody challenged me, I could have stopped there for hours. The entrance for the bands gear is at the front of the building, so if your patient enough, you would see the band and roadies arrive tomorrow....bring it on π

I'm still reeling from a fantastic night with Kasabian, a concert I will never forget!! π¨π It was such a different concert experience to Taormina, Sicily. The play list included 'wasted' and 'bubblebee' made a return. The doors opened at 6:30, and I was able to get a prime position right at the front, just in front of Tom. This was my second Kasabian concert, the first at Taormina was an all seated affair, and this time I aimed to be in the thick of the mosh pit. 'Slave' kicked off the show, prior, earplugs was handed out π Everyone was nicely warmed up by slave so when Kasabian came on stage to 'ill Ray(the king) it was sheer bedlam! Near me someone dropped their mobile phone on the floor, the guy next to me had a drink thrown up his back...by accident of course. Oh, the mobile was recovered, but smashed. Everyone was jumping up and down, if you didn't you would have been trampled π¬ or you lost your place in front of the stage. Of course, Sergio made his walk through the crowd during 'treat' something he didn't do at Taormina. He was greeted with a hug from Tom when he returned back to the stage...bless, what a nice touch. 'Fire' ended the show, together with us all crouching down on the floor, gawd knows how we did it π As for the mosh pit experience, I did it and survived, some how...π΅ ..the crowd pulled back during 'Vlad' to clear a space about 15foot wide on the floor, then crashed together, π΅Don't know how nobody got hurt or knocked off their feet? Great fun, but scary at times, glad my girlfriend wasn't there, because it was quite rough at times.. I'm returning back to the UK in a couple of days time from Zurich with a fantastic memory. .... our next concert is London, O2 - my girlfriends first taste of Kasabian π and my 3rd, I might just catch you up Lindas?

Ohhh it was VERY scary, but also intoxicating!! It's the first time I have come out of a gig with my top soaking wet from sweat. Plus, obviously you see so much more being so close, and it's a different sound, everyone is singing the lyrics, everyone's got their hands above their heads clapping...not a few, it's everyone...and you realise Tom and Sergio are actually looking and engaging with us, at the front....π I'm looking forward to my next concert at the O2, London, for different reasons, but it will never march last night, but would I be right saying 2 concerts can never be the same x.
