I am going to try to get tickets for this one, it's the only one we can do. But what a short notice! Anyone going, apart from me and bury420?

I am still undecided if Newport + Southend or Dublin instead ... every time I think about it my decision changes ...

Might actually show up in daylight. I've plenty of time and I assume Newport is not the nicest place

They played their usual set. The singer was not at the barrier. Ended their set with "Thank you London".
In general: the venue is a dream. They handed out about 70 wristbands so the front of stage area was a spacious relaxing zone. Lots of fun there with lots of nice people. Behind that area it was very packed. The crowd was mindblowing. After Vlad everybody was singing get loose get loose so the band added a 2-3 minute Vlad jam (I think frencheezeh recorded it). Le Fée Verte had an extended outro. Don't know if they did that before. Afaik not in Birmingham and Newport. Summed up: one of my top five Kasabian gigs

What an extraordinary night! Hope I can remember all the little details, but here is a quick summary: the staff of the venue was very friendly, helpful and well organised. The box office offered to check my credit card in the morning, so i was sure it would be working when entering. Nobody was really queuing before 4pm, and the queue was in the street of the artists' entrance. As I had luckily found a RSD YILWAP vinyl, I had it signed by Sergio and Chris, but they only stayed a few seconds. Then the fantastic and lovely Tim came to chat with us, and gave us a few explanations about the YILWAP video, and the filming that happened in London on the 20th. He even said he got himself a RSD day vinyl . And we had a quick chat with Ian too. I was told there were three different barriers on the ground floor, so we were ready when we entered, and only the first 70 got a wristband to the front barrier. Wonderful front barrier hold by Italian, Australian, Leicester friends, with the German posse led by bury420 behind us! The atmosphere was amazing, the whole crowd was chanting LSF during 10 minutes before the gig started. It started with Comeback Kid, and it's a great opener, sincerly! I remember Tom was crying at the end of Bless This Acid House, and they played a somewhat improvised outro for La Fée Verte (video will be posted later ). Tom and Sergio were very happy with the atmosphere, all band members were enjoying themselves so much! Ill Ray is definitely one of their best songs ever. Setgio went on the balcony during Treat. Sergio let Tom lead the LSF sing along, and that was really fun. And then came Vlad, the song was finished, the lights had changed for the next song, and the crowd continued to sing: get loose, get loose, so they started a jam!!! Or rather a free style like Tom said. This had never happened before, at least not that I know of. And it was a moment of pure happiness! I really hope they do this more often! The video will be yours rapidly. The band stayed for ages on stage when the gig was over, thanking the audience. To me, the best Kasabian gig I have ever been to.

Another sidenote: Tom mentioned they'll be back in Dublin in October I hope it's just his confused mind and they'll be doing the arena tour after the European gigs as usual.

I apologise in advance for the poor quality of the video, as I filmed with my phone (the camera's battery was almost dead).

Usual Kasabian thing happening in Nov/Dec to celebrate the release of the album during the year. They play arenas like SSE Hydro in Glasgow, probably O2 Arena for London this time, who knows. Check out their previous UK/Ireland arena tours.
