The other 2 gigs can be combined very nicely. Lots of nice places to stay on Saturday along the Italian coast :-)

bury420 I agree, I'm absolutely charmed by this country but festivals are always expensive so I'm looking forwsrd to find some hints on getting to Catania which is the closest town to Taormina as cheap as possible. Taormina gig is the solo gig I guess

Isn't this the usual Italian festival thing with 1 band (plus supprt) playing every day? So it's single headline shows in the end. That's what the San Siro Ippodrome gig was like in 2012 which was also a part of some endless festival. Offtopic for this gig now.

I wonder is it strong enough to outlive a Kasabian show haha. I mean, it's so antique and if the boys can literally cause earthquakes this amphitheatre might go cracks & ruins after them

Hi all - anyone based in the UK? Did you book tickets through ticket one? I will arrive in Taormina 3 days prior to the concert and am not sure whether to select collect tickets at the venue or whether to ask for postage to the UK. I cannot bear the thought of getting there and then there is a problem with the tickets!! Advice welcome! Thanks

Never had problems with ticketone pickups. It works very well. No reason to worry. I think they charge 20,- Euro for international postage ...

I chose the option of having my tickets delivered at home (for €20 indeed bury420 ) and now I regret it because I live with the fear of losing them or for them being stolen, or of me forgetting them home! You're safer with a collection at the venue. I am pretty sure everything will be alright. I would have preferred e-tickets, but that was not available (only for the Rome gig). See you there!
