For all of you who attended both gigs what did you prefer and why?.As I only went to Victoria Park and that was one of my all time best gig of theirs I'm curious to what you thought of the King Power ones. And was the atmosphere like the homecoming one.?

The performances for both, were just superb. For me, though, Vic Park was by far the better gig, in terms of atmosphere, simply because I was right in the crowd. I had a seat for KP.

King Power. Atmosphere in the standing area on Saturday was the best i've ever seen. Sunday was quite good too.
Missed the London Road atmosphere during the day which we had for the Victoria Park gig.

I can't really compare Vicky park and the Leicester shows as I adored them both and they were both different. I loved loved Vicky Park, the band were amazing and sounded gorgeous. And it was such a gorgeous day. It really felt like a festival and my friends and I were just chilling out and enjoying it.
I also adored the Leicester gigs, two of my fave gigs ever. It really had the best of an intimate gig with the power of a stadium show. And the band were just having the best time ever. And brilliant set list.
But yeah what a brilliant time I had this week end. Wish I could do it all again! Leicester felt like Mardi Gras! Such a great atmosphere!

I was at the second King Power, and have seen Victoria park only on DVD but it looks like that Victoria Park had better atmosphere than the stadium yesterday. I mean it was still great, but I don't think the crowd was singing much (at least around me) and half of the people were just rushing off to buy beer half the time.
But music-wise, I think King Power was superior. Victoria Park was a great, solid performance like at any festival, but yesterday was one of their best performances I've seen. It had an exciting setlist, a new song, the choir, British Legion, probably one of the best performances of Stuntman, lots of little changes which made everything really special. But then again, I wasn't at Victoria Park and obviously things are very different when you're there in person.

Good point Cuttoff I see what you mean. I think one big difference was that perhaps with VP it was maybe more of a concert for Kasabian fans where as KPS there was a real mix of diehard fans and people who may not have been as familiar with the band and were there to celebrate Leicester's victory. Both quite different but for me equally special

Thanks, all in all they succeeded the main purpose of the concert .I looked at the new song on You tube and it reminds me of another song but I can't place it yet. I'm glad they didn't do Butcher Blues or I'd would of been kicking myself but I hope a recording of British Legion turns up even though it would probably make me cry.
