So, as I am sure everybody noticed by now, Serge sure loves to use strings in the songs.
So, what's your favorite? The intro for Take Aim? The intro for Stevie? Empire? I could go on forever really. Mine are the intro for Take Aim and WDATLG

It suits Empire really well. I also loved the long sad Goodbye Kiss ending in 2014. Or the dramatic Stevie intro with the light behind the strings, even if I still think Stevie is not the best song to start the encore with, that was a great moment. Take Aim intro I prefer with just Gary.
One of Serge's reasons for not playing Acid Turkish Bath a certain unnamed song in 2011 was "we would have to drag a string section around with us everywhere." But now they have them for major parts of the tour and they still don't, which is a bit annoying.

I remember hearing Stevie with the violins for the first time in Vicky park, blew my mind alright. And hopefully they will play ATB one day, considering they drag the Dirty Pretty strings pretty much everywhere important right now. Also a favorite of mine is Re-Wired, suits the song greatly.

Re-Wired probably number one. Stevie of course. And a lot of moments in Empire album

I love the Me Plus One strings. Like highroyds said they suit Empire well. Actually most of the album sounded great with strings when they played it at Electric Proms. And I have mixed feelings about the Goodbye Kiss ending. I do cry enjoy it a lot when they play it live but I don't like that the song loses its fast, sharp tempo because of it. La Fee Verte has got some beautiful strings too, love it. Have they ever played Let's Roll with strings? That must sound gorgeous I guess.
