If you had the chance to interview the band, what are some of the things you would ask them? Something you've always wanted to know? Something you think might get an interesting response?

I have a couple of questions I would like to ask. - First of all how does song-writing normally go down? Sergio gets some ideas, makes demo's, and then what? Who does exactly what until the record reaches the producer. - Do they plan to revive some old material? Like making a studio version of "55" and maybe some songs of Saracuse period, especially "Something in my genes" - And anther question - why Kasabian haven't issued a compilation of B-sides yet, unreleased songs and remixes? Like "The Masterplan" of Oasis. They have enough material now to make two CDs, even three with remixes.
and another bunch of less interesting questions of course.

Especially considering they did it when they were babies, as Tom would say, and I think it's a lot better than some of the very polished and perfectly produced things other bands put on their albums. You never know, they might release something old if it fits, Happiness was written 10 years before West Ryder. As far as I know a studio version of 55 exists. I think on the old old forum some people claimed to have heard it, but it might not be true, who knows.

Will we ever get to hear an original Meighan song? I know not every musician has the urge to write, but I seem to remember having heard that he does or would like to, although maybe not under Kasabian. So, would Serge "let" him or any of the others or does he want to be the only one writing for the band? Speaking of that, how much of a democracy or dictatorship is Kasabian, or something in between? Damn, another one I could not really ask that directly.

So, would Serge "let" him or any of the others or does he want to be the only one writing for the band? Serge would probably be the first to demand they release one of his songs if it fits on an album. "If I thought I had something that was good enough for Kasabian, I'd bring it to Serge and he'd help me develop it. He's always helpful. If I can write something as good as Serge's standard, then maybe one day. But that's a high standard!" - NME, September 2011 They always say they're a democracy. Look at them, they're not Oasis with some control-obsessed egomaniac. But even democracies need leaders.

Surely that will be informative. Let's make it a drinking game. Take a shot for Tom liking E.T. or toys, Leicester City, is the album title a bible verse, something about Serge + football, horsemeat, Glasto...

It looks kinda awkward that they will be doing a Twitter takeover as they didn't seem to like it that much. XD But will be nice if they answer any of my question!

I'd like to know if MTV are picking the questions from the hashtag beforehand or if they'll just start looking at it once it starts. So far it's mostly just people saying come to my country, with only a handful of real questions buried in between.

I tweeted twice. Once to ask them to my country (I need to see them once. Fair enough) Second question was about the title being related to a Bible verse. Where were they answered? On Twitter or as a live interview. I asked the questions before the slotted time though

The title has nothing to do with the Bible verse - they said it in one of the Italian interviews last week (and somewhere else too?) and found it very funny that people would suggest it.

On Twitter or as a live interview. I asked the questions before the slotted time though The thing with asking the band to come to a certain country is, they are not the ones in charge of that decision. The best they can do is say yes maybe possibly you never know... They don't know, they can't promise you anything. They're probably aware by now that they have loads of fans in all countries everywhere and are doing their best to make it happen. MTV favourited some tweets from the hashtag right before it started, so we assumed those were the ones they would ask, but for some reason they didn't use any of them and only a handful of the strangest questions were picked. Quite disappointing. Please post anything else specifically concerning the MTV takeover in this thread, everyone.
