I've already seen some posted in the merch and collection threads - what are Kasabian related things you own that are not strictly official merchandise like t-shirts and keychains, or musical releases?

Do you mean things like these? I was offered these funny little things a couple of weeks ago STR badges are so cute. I wanted to buy the whole set of 4 as a present from the guy who makes them, it was still on his website (http://www.aguycalledminty.co.uk/) - he gladly and immediately charged me then took 3 weeks to tell me they're sold out, then another 2 to refund me. But he makes some really nice stuff - he has a pretty STR poster currently.

I'm sorry for you the seller wasn't very serious, but he does really make fun stuff as he seems to have very good musical choices lol, but maybe will he create another set soon? Let's hope!

Setlists. The backstage stuff is from Munich, there's some more but I wanted to fit it all in one picture. If I remember correctly some girls asked Rick to get them things after the gig, but then they left before he came back, and I was conveniently standing around so he just gave me this whole pile of stuff. It took me ages to get my first setlist, I'm always impressed when people go to one single gig and come back with a setlist, maracas, a tambourine, all five albums signed and ten selfies with band members. But the first one is my favourite, it was Chris' and Serge gave it to me. Badges and a fridge magnet. Sadly my fridge has a wooden front. The Velociraptor one is not the official one, but I think this is nicer than the one they sold themselves eventually. Wristband from the Abbey Road album preview. The number is from when we had to hand in our phones. Ian's drumsticks. Not the signature ones but the ones he uses for non-Kasabian gigs. He gave them to me in Bristol in October 2013, here they are in use. Even more stuff. The badges and patches are official but were promo only, I won them from a radio station. There are more of the badges, but I think they might be attached to clothes somewhere. Tim's Neon Noon lyrics from Berlin. They're in a frame now. Plectrums! All from my own gigs except one of Serge's from the Mode gig, which my lovely cuttoff gave me for my birthday last year. I've seen a lot of confusion in the past about whose plectrums are whose, sometimes Jay's were being sold on Ebay as Serge's or vice versa, but this is definitely correct. Getting Jay's involved him grabbing a handful out of his stash and throwing it at my face. The last one of Serge's is from Brixton, when they played the acoustic Bumblebeee intro at the very edge of the stage, I literally watched him drop it right in front of me. Just in case there was any doubt. I'll probably find some more things to post later. I have two big masked man flags, but they're a bit dusty right now. I also have two things that Tom donated to Oxfam, the t-shirt he wore at the Mojo Awards 2010 (and hugged Jimmy Page in!), and a denim jacket.

When you look at their schedule, all the flights and gigs and soundchecks, you just realise how demanding touring can be.

highroyds you've got so much lovely stuff! I haven't seen those empire badges for sale anywhere for ages - that's the only era I don't own a single badge from. I had one with the album cover and managed to lose it. I know we talked about it only very recently but I can't remember now - where is the setlist next to Munich from? Some of my stuff. Let's start from the most precious things. Drumsticks - 4 from Ian's various jazz gigs, and one Kasabian one with his signature which I finally caught in Doncaster in 2013, one of my favourite gigs. It's a drumstick that played Black Whistler, it's so lovely to have. I keep them in a vase, like a bouquet of flowers. dirtyroknroller's boyfriend caught the other one that day and almost got beaten up for that, it was so awful that people can physically attack you for that. Another precious thing - Tom's jacket from the first time he auctioned his clothes for Oxfam (the badge is mine though). I was with my parents that day and somehow was feeling a bit weird to buy his clothes but my parents convinced me to buy because it's for a good cause and something so special to have and they paid the half. I don't wear it and it's big for me anyway, but it's officially my good luck jacket. It had crumbs in the pocket when I got it and it's one of very few designer things I own, it's Vivienne Westwood and Tom is wearing it here - whole that commentary happens to be one of my favourite things ever and means a lot to me, I was so pleased to realise that after I bought the jacket. One of my favourite possesions ever - Silver Bullet lyrics from Brixton 2010 gig that highroyds got for my birthday. It was the last time they played that song, and it was such a beautiful, special performance. Lisa joined them for it, and 3 of them singing in the end still gives me goosebumps, it was perfect. Some stickers I have a few setlists, I might take a pic another day. I also have lots of weird Kasabian stuff, the weirdest probably being the plastic bottle with some disgusting cocktail Jay threw at us in Brixton in 2010. I can confess now that I've peeled a tiny bit of the paint from the pink wall when it still existed and keep it in my jewelry box. I was feeling bad about it at the time but now Aitor has repainted the wall, I'm glad I have it. Another random thing that I have is LSF confetti from 2009

I know we talked about it only very recently but I can't remember now - where is the setlist next to Munich from? Liverpool 2011. Your cocktail wins the whole thread.

Highroyds and Cuttoff. I love this thread! Thanks for sharing these with us. I love looking at Memorabelia like this, because each item has a "memory" behind it.

Yes, these tour books give us information of what life on tour must be, and they made me realise how much they must love us to accept to live such a life! I do really love your Tom's jacket, it is a fantastic item to have.

Kasabian was promoting their Velociraptor album&tour in Germany in the autumn of 2011 by playing on a late night show (read: the only really relevant German late night show, Harald Schmidt show). Think Conan, if nothing comparable existed: witty, sharp, dark homour, sometimes political. I brought a fairly new date and bought two tickets. One of my favourite bands in one of my favourite shows. Well, fast forward - the show was an absolute howler. The other guest (director Roland Emmerich - Independence day, 2012, etc.) even admitted off air that he didn't really wanted to be there, the chemistry was awful and the stand-up prior was mediocre. Nevertheless I felt really pumped, because Kasabian was expected to come out the backdoor after the show where we (my date and me, one other fan and two autograph collectors/sellers) were waiting. We waited for an absurd amount of time - keep in mind that they only played one song and we waited about an hour and a half in the cold (Germany, november, late in the evening...) - but at least they were super friendly. Apparently they pillaged the catering. I got an autograph, a photo with everyone, some plectrums and even a beer. But here's the twist: they simply stole what was left of the catering, all available booze, and the minibar. The heist was even featured in the next week's episode of Harald Schmidt where he showed some security footage of us holding the door open and helping the Gallagher-looking lad. The plectrums are very generic but this anecdote is still one of my best stories.

I totally forgot, I also have an original G-Star store window display. Sorry for the poor quality pic, I'm not unrolling him to take another one.
