How could anyone choose a favorite??? This isn't Arctic Monkeys, it's Kasabian, everything they have has been great and all the albums are great and different. I could never choose just one And shame no one has chosen Velociraptor!!! Well, why don't you vote for Velociraptor! I agree that it is almost impossible to choose, I would vote for all 4 if it was possible...

But strangely this is the only AM album I like from A to Z.

I have to go with West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Evem though I treat them all equally. What got me into Kasabian has to be the music video of Underdog. I remember watching Vh1, the music channel for India, having been subject to boring hip hop stuff, I wasn't even bothered to look at the screen, one song stopped, and I thought, "Ah, here comes another boring one." And then the synth made me orgasmic, I had to look at the screen instantly, and my eyes fell on Sergio, jumping, with his Rickenbacker, I couldn't think of anything else. That was it. I liked Coldplay before, but I was like, "f*** you Coldplay, Kasabian is my stuff." I didn't have access to the internet back then, cause backward India and PCs be too expensive. As soon as I got my first phone, a Samsung Champ, the 1st song I downloaded was Underdog. The lyrics was in your face and I could easily connect. Then, I downloaded the entire album, everything excited me, Vlad, Secret Alphabets, West Ryder Silver Bullet (their best song ever composed in my opinion), all this was too much to handle. Now that I have a Samsung S3, I can only think of filling up my phone with about 60 plus songs and that's still not enough. It's drugs in form of data. ♡

But strangely this is the only AM album I like from A to Z. It's funny about AM fans. I have friends who are DIE.HARD fans and adore them and travel everywhere to go see them...yet they admit that Alex Turner is a colossal knob head and not a terribly good front man, and the band themselves are all really snooty and basically shun their fans and treat them pretty badly. I have a friend who who traveled to London to see them, then went straight back to France to see them, then went to New York to see them, and she said that when the fans waited outside the band would just totally blank them and walk past. How depressing. Complete opposite to our beautiful band. (she said smugly).

It is just a part of Alex Turner, and it also makes its way to his music. If he was a different person, like nicer or something, his music would be different. So we have to take it as a whole package.

I don't know. I suppose if I liked the music it would be easier to accept, but I don't. I'm sick of how he is portrayed as a lyrical genius. Why? So he can rhyme grizzly bear and chair. I don't find that so inspirational. But then, he sells out big arena so what do I know.
I find it really hard to put up with divas. I don't care how successful they are or how talented, if you are a knob head and treat people as inferiors I don't like you. Just makes me really really glad I'm a Kasabian fan.

I do not follow him because AM is not in top 50 of my favourite bands, but at least it is not some commercial sh...t, you know;)

Atleast he doesn't perform half naked. But well, I hardly ever listen to them. When I do, I get bored. But maybe the band's behaviour or a person's behaviour depends upon his past, struggle, etc. Or maybe the music they make requires such an attitude. Whatever that is. I find Kasabian more down to earth. They still consider themselves as lads from Leicester trying to live their big dream changing lives of others through their music.

Voted for West Ryder. I think all the albums are great and I find it hard to choose a favourite, but Underdog & Secret Alphabets made me fall in love with Kasabian. And yeah, all the other songs on it are just simply amazing.

My favourite is their debut and I think it always will be. I love the energy from it plus it is the album which I have most of my favourite songs from.
