In this interview Serge says that they're going to rehearse a cover by an Australian artist and might play it on the tour. Any guesses?

Can imagine it with all the 48:13 keyboards on it. Serge can whisper the verses and Tom can sing the chorus, with a call and response style thing.

Thanks for the link! And my guess would be Wolfmother or Nick Cave.

No cover songs this time. They might've pre-recorded a Like A Version cover for Triple J while they were in Sydney? If they did, it will probably be on this Friday. Okay just checked the triple J website, and yep, they did!! FRIDAY: British electronic rock underdogs KASABIAN are coming in for Like A Version. www.abc.net.au/triplej/breakfast/

It sounded like he meant they rehearsed something for the proper gigs, not a session, but maybe they just changed their minds? It would be nice if they did a new cover (or fucking BREAKFAST) for this, as much as I love everything they've done, we already have pro recordings of everything. Last time they did I'm So Tired for the first time in 6 years.

Hope it's a Days style acoustic rework of bumblebeee! That and our Aussie cover would be a fine treat.

I really want Bumblebeee. The only proper acoustic version we have is the Transmitter one, which stupidly has the interview all over it. The other two are crappy recordings. I adore Stevie, but we already have so many of it.
