Help, I think I did something wrong?
No sweat. It only takes me a second to move or merge a thread, it's not a big deal if you post in the wrong place. Even if you break a rule, we don't just ban people for innocent mistakes. If you're not sure about something you can always ask!
- Why register? You won't be able to create threads, post replies or vote in polls as a guest.
- You will have access to the Members Only section, where fans can post exclusive content or information, after you have made your first 10 posts. Please don't spam, there are lots of threads to post in.
- You can introduce yourself, but you don't have to. You can also start posting right away!
- Please don't create more than one account. If you don't like the name you first registered with, you can change it anytime. If there is a problem with your original account, message one of the admins and we'll try to find a solution. Multiple people sharing one account is also not allowed.
General posting rules
- Be polite to each other. We don't tolerate any kind of aggressive or abusive behaviour towards other members.
- No elitism. Someone who hasn't been to 100 gigs isn't less of a fan.
- Don't be shy to post in an old thread, even if it hasn't been updated for months... or years.
Picture posting
- You may post your own pictures, screencaps or scans at any time. We recommend using third party hosts like Imgur, as the forum has a very limited capacity for direct uploads.
- If you post content you found elsewhere on the internet, you must cite the source. This would be either the name of the photographer or a link to the website where the picture originally came from, for example zimbio.com. Tumblr or Instagram accounts - other than the photographer's own - are not a valid source for reposted pictures.
- No personal pictures posted here may be reposted elsewhere without the owner's explicit permission.
Gig threads
- There will be a separate thread created for each gig, there is no need for multiple threads about the same gig except in special case, for example when there's a DVD release.
- You may create threads for past gigs anytime. The subject format should be DD Month YYYY - Venue, City, or DD Month YYYY - Festival name for festivals.
- Before you create a thread, please check the upcoming gigs list or use the search feature. If a gig is not officially confirmed, keep all discussion in the gig rumours thread until it is.
- Gig threads are moved from upcoming to past gigs within a few days of the event. If you can't find a thread where it should be, check the other section!
File sharing
- The media forum is members only, you need to register and reach a post count of 10 to view the posts and create new threads.
- Don't post or request officially released material.
- Don't post direct links to hosted files, for example on Mediafire, unless they are your own uploads.
- Please also read the more detailed file sharing rules in the media section.
