Everything about Kasabian remixes - Which ones are your favourites? Which songs you want to see remixed? Which ones you don't like? I do likes their remixes mostly, Temple of Hell Club Foot, both Ovary Stripes, Sasha Underdog and both Days Are Forgotten Remixes are probably my favourites. I find the Take Aim remix funny, I really enjoy it on the vinyl and Me Plus One mixes are always on my jogging playlists. 2 remixes that I really dislike and almost never listen to are Fire and Wdatlg ones, I really think that Underdog was the only really brilliant one from West Ryder. I always hoped that we'll get a proper long version of Sticks and Bones aka the Velocirpator remix and really wanted a big heavy remix of SBS but none of it happened. I hope we get a few with this album, Treat and Doomsday would make such good dancey remixes.

For the longest time my only opinion on remixes was "we could have had a proper b-side instead of this" but eventually I got over it and into the music.
My favourites are Jacknife Lee RiT (does it even count?), Jagz Kooner Empire, Paradise Club Foot, KOAN Days.
I hate the Simple Pleasures J-Ax ones with a passion, it's the absolute worst. Not a huge fan of the Z-Trip Days one because it's just the song as it is and then suddenly wotsname starts talking and that's it? I can never tell the Me Plus One remixes apart but one of them is just the same thing repeated over and over which does my head in, I can't listen to it. I agree that most of the West Ryder ones are a bit meh, especially Vlad is disappointing because that could have been amazing.
When we got the first recording of Treat from Dundee I thought it already sounds like a remix. They should do something like a 20 minute version of it, like that monster Amorphous Androgynous made for Oasis' Falling Down, except more electric.
Does anyone know for sure where the samples on the Ovary Stripe samples mix are from? I've heard a few things about who it's supposed to be but it sounds more like a movie to me.

My favourite is Jacknife Lee's Reason is Treason. Technically it is not a remix, but a mix (just alternative version), but still.

I like all Jagz Kooner mixes released to date. Me Plus One (Jacques Lu Cont Mix) is one of my fav too. Once I got a remix compilation from the net called "Kasabian - RMXD", though it's unofficial it deserves to listen: 01. Club Foot (Jagz Kooner Vocal mix) 02. Reason Is Treason (fakeID mix) 03. Processed Beats (Afrika Bambaataa mix) 04. Cutt Off (Mad Action Remix) 05. L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever) (Jagz Kooner mix) 06. Ovary Stripe (Band Remix) 07. Club Foot (Temple Of Hell 12" remix) 08. Empire (Jagz Kooner remix) 09. Shoot The Runner (Shakes remix) 10. Me Plus One (Jacques Lu Cont mix) 11. Empire (Alex C remix) I like remixes. Personally I'm happy Kasabian don't release many remixes (will see in the future though) as other bands do, like Depeche Mode with tonzzz of remixes. I'm a DM fan for 22 years and I know very well what is means to collect all versions of your favourite band's songs %))

Eddy Temple Morris just named the Losers Remix as one of his favourite remixes of last 15 years. Made me nostalgic for all the great remixes we used to get.

Another Eddie Temple-Morris post. We posted a pic of Eddie Losers remix vinyl on instagram and he commented and said he loves that mix. It's so nice he remembers the details about basslines of a remix he made 10 years ago https://instagram.com/p/8Whml4oOtQ

Wow! That made my day! I even did not get to the second one yet, still playing re-wired on repeat. This is another reason why Kasabian really should issue remixes and b-sides album.

I merged the new thread with the existing remixes thread - it's for both official and unofficial remixes like these.
