So according to some lyrics site, it's about the Isiah 48:13 verse translation in German pr some language. Great. Now if that is the case, people will be like, "They were indeed trying to act cool."

Whatever language this is, it's not German. Also, mortis means death, and there's nothing about death in the verse, so are we sure it's not made up? I thought it would be Latin, this is not Latin either. If you google any of those words all you get is Mortis lyrics. I think it's made up.

I thought at first the song was about Rigor Mortis. Still could be it, but I doubted after seeing the album cover someone put on the thread

It's supposedly from a language known as 'Esperanto'. I came to the conclusion after doing a Google Translate

I googled some of the words on their own, they literally don't seem to exist.

I googled some of the words on their own, they literally don't seem to exist. Nice...Do they invent a new language? But it sounds like something between Chech, Hungarian and Romainian

I think it's a guess by someone. That's Serge's 93-year old grandfather according to his Q track-by-track. He definitely says "In mortis kubla..." and the rest is indecipherable. I wonder if it's anything to do with this; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubla_Khan, so it would be "In mortis, Kubla", or "In death, Kubla...something something".

Could it be in mortis hora/ora = in the hour/edge of death?

Well it's too late because that made up gibberish is already everywhere, people are going to think Kasabian are devoutly religious and at least one person will get a tattoo of it.

True that. But you can't help but think about it.

Thankfully this was deciphered exactly. I got the line inked on my left hand. (So glad I didn't end up thinking the previous one was right) XD
