Wear Your Music makes bracelets and other jewellery out of used guitar strings, including ones used by famous artists, and donates all the money to charity, which I think is very cool, so I just wanted to spread the word about them. I already emailed them to suggest they ask Kasabian for strings and they said they would contact them, so now I really really hope that happens, because anything that's physically involved in creating their music, like plectrums or drumsticks, makes me intensely emotional and I need to have it. I can imagine that the band would be up for it but I don't trust The Powers That Be one bit.

I hope they follow it up, I would love to buy one. They should make them and tell us which guitar's strings they are. I want the strings from the fast fuse vox teardrop, or even better, the acoustic one he used to play the old outro on in 2008 (do we know which guitar it is?)

I think this is such a brilliant idea. When I first saw the site a while back I straight away looked for Kasabian and to my disappointment there was nothing. Good on you for contacting them, I didn't even think of doing that!
I'd definitely buy one. I'd LOVE a string from one of Serge's Rickenbackers.

I think it was the Gibson J-160E, but not 100% sure, the videos are a bit bad.

The thing I'm worried about is that WYM will try to contact HQ and can't because HQ don't read their emails.
