I don't know yet. I'm going to Bremen, Frankfurt (Neu-Isenburg) and Cologne for sure. My problem is that I want to be at home between the shows because I am going from Cologne directly to the Italian gigs. Don't want to be around 1 1/2 weeks nonstop ...
Will decide about Berlin/Munich shortterm but will most likely be watching Schalke away on Saturday (with short stop at home) and visit my family in Southern Germany from Sunday to Tuesday. OK could end up in Munich then ... ;-)

Does anyone else feel like some of these locations happened because they couldn't get the ones they wanted originally? Bremen instead of Hamburg maybe, because not only I'm still very cross about that, but they've played Hamburg on every German tour since 2004. Why go to Bremen, the band likes Hamburg (it has been discussed), it's a major city. Neu-Isenburg is the most random place ever and only slightly more populated than the shithole where I live, they might as well come to my house. I will arrange a family moshpit.

I was quite suprised about Neu-Isenburg too. Have been to the last gig in Frankfurt in Gibson club, which would have been too small to play there again. I don't know much about the locations in Frankfurt except the Festhalle. Just know that Neu-Isenburg is the airport area. Stadthalle in Offenbach would have made sense for me. Have been there for Social Distortion and Kid Rock and both gigs were quite cool.
Artic Monkey have played Bremen too. Seems like Pier 2 is trying to get more and more concerts. Many German acts are going to play there this year (and last year).
Much more pissed off about Palladium in Cologne but the E-Werk was sold out quick last time and Düsseldorf, Mitsubishi Hall is shit too so it makes kind of sense to play the Palladium.

It's good for bands to play different venues as opposed to the same ones all the time. It was great to see them in Kilmarnock.

It's good for bands to play different venues as opposed to the same ones all the time. Ian: "Change is good!" Me: "NO" My last gig where I didn't have to pay for travel/accomodation was over two years ago, and I'm not doing so great health-wise this year, soooo I would have appreciated a gig close to me. It might make sense for them to play smaller cities around the UK as a treat for the fans, but in Germany there's no point in going anywhere but the usual ones. Or maybe they wanted very specific sized venues this time and I think Hamburg doesn't really have anything between really small ones and really big ones. Sporthalle is still too big at 7,000 and Stadtpark closes in late September. I do like Bremen, at least it's somewhat close, and I like the look of the venue, as long as it doesn't get too windy. I had to think of Echo Arena, which was my most uncomfortable, miserable queue ever. What's wrong with Palladium? I've seen a few people complain about it.

Mine has a hole in it :-)
The concert was really good. Finally got to hear clouds. Loved it!
Crowd was really ok on the side I was standing. Better than expected. I still can't understand why Germans have to do circle pits for Underdog and songs like that. Weird.
Three hours of sleep. Off to Cologne.

Hi guys, this is my first post. Does anybody know what the attendance was in Neu-Isenburg? Still can´t believe that so few people came by to see Kasabian...
