Nme being classy as always in their misheard lyrics list. I'll bet on my paradise 7 that nobody ever has misheard 'i'm on fire' like that.

It does sound like 'sex and love' !!! I was hearing ''says hello'' from the start. When I read those lyrics on YouTube I thought it might say''Sex and Love'' but mostly because of everybody saying that they were the correct lyrics.I was like ''come on,they're all saying it that way,it must be true''

My dad heard "I fight off robots in their medieval suits" in Bumblebeee. I still sing it that way sometimes because that is such a perfectly Kasabian line

A lot of the time it's live versions where the words are hard to understand, and then it never goes away. It spreads from one website to the next and in the end someone gets a tattoo of really wrong lyrics, because it's on the internet so it must be true. I also thought it was clearly "comeback kid says hello" because that actually makes sense, but there are still people who think Shoot the Runner contains the line "having sex in the snow"

But yeah, it's clearly "Says hello" in Comeback Kid, thought so when I first heard the song (And I believe I heard it first here).

The problem is that before Velociraptor they didn't print the full lyrics in the album sleeves. And even now there are errors sometimes. They're not making it easy for us.
We asked Serge about some lyrics once and his response was "I don't know, make them up"

This is so funny! I definitely misheard the "sex in the snow" for Shoot the Runner. Also on Empire, the first stanza of Me Plus One was generally lost on me and I would mumble along, just saying the words here or there that I thought I knew. For a long time, I thought the second line was "Where'd you get that smile, did you find it?" Close... but not quite right. Their lyrics aren't always complete thoughts or sentences like other bands, so I don't feel too bad when I'm singing the wrong ones.
