Kasabian and mondegreens have been together a bit. Discuss what you have misheard whilst listening to their songs I still feel it is - To the backbone I sold the system These clever convicts.

I had a reverse one with "Test transmission". 'Haha, sounded like "cancel the chickens"'. *lyrics* 'What?!' Still puzzles to me this day how you cancel chicken!

Thick as Thieves is probably the most common one: "stolen hats" and "media foes" and "high skies"... It still comes from the first time someone tried to transcribe the lyrics from poor quality recordings after the first time they played the song in 2008. People still insist those lyrics must be correct, which says a bit about how much they actually listen to the song, I guess.
First time I heard the Fairy I wasn't sure if it's "so just send me down the river" or "soldiers send me down the river"

When I heard Velociraptor! for the first time, I thought Tom sings Leicester instead of Blast Off.

Haha Test Transimission lyrics are awesome. There used to be this Test Transmission misheard lyrics animation on youtube, it was so funny, does anybody remember it? It had 'sell the goat' instead of 'steal the gold', always made me laugh.

To be honest, especially together with the chickens, it would not be that far off! We called it the agricultural song.

When I heard Velociraptor! for the first time, I thought Tom sings Leicester instead of Blast Off. Oh yes! We heard it first in Sheffield and Leeds and spent the whole drive to Wolverhampton trying to figure out the lyrics. I thought it was "last stop". Also the VERY first time they played it Tom introduced the song and I was frantically trying to get my camera out to record it and thought I heard something with "surrender" instead of Velociraptor. Sometimes in Vlad they sing "we fucking own the floor" and the first couple of times I heard that I thought they were fucking on the floor.

I like how Tom switched to "You can fuck me, I'm still alive." XD But there are many of those in songs, and especially a bit confusing going through the lyrics sites. The most funniest one - In the bathroom, I saw my sister, she smelt of cornflakes

How could I forget these two - " Rips through the package" in Switchblade Smiles and "Having sex in the snow" in Shoot The Runner. XD

"Having sex in the snow" in Shoot The Runner. XD I always sing sex in the snow, it fits so much better another version I've seen somewhere is 'rabbit sex in the snow'.

"London have the power" instead of "The wrong men have the power" in Eez-Eh. For about a day I thought it was "sending out a single" instead of signal, and I thought that's a bit meta, singing about releasing a single in the single, until I saw the lyrics in the video.

"High skies" = "your scars"? But "media foes"? I have no idea what that is. The only one I can think is "meat eating folds" haha

I guess we all thought the line in Stevie is "who you trying to kill" but according to the lyrics in the sleeve it's "who you trying to kid"
