All the haters will be slagging this announcement off now but look at Mumfords the worst headliner performance ever. But Kasabian really need to pull something special out of the bag for this to silence the critics.

Kasabian are blowing their budget to get a MJ-esque show at Glastonbury. Will be looking forward to it. P.S. - Don't expect any member to do a moonwalk Source - NME.com

Stage times announced. Kasabian only have 90 mins. Of the three headliners, they come on the earliest (joint with Metallica) at 9:45, and finish the earliest, at 11:15. Can't Kasabian have the 2 hour slot on Saturday instead of Metallica? haha www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2014/?stage

They never play for 2 hours (even if they're announced for 2 hours like HRC) so no surprise.

As far as I'm concerned they should be playing for two hours now with the amount of songs they have and the amount they charge now.

I think that too, but the band have said they'll never play that long... It disappoints me, but at least I know not to expect it. There's a brilliant video of Dave Grohl and he says; "If you've been in a band for more than 10 years, you're not allowed to play for less than two hours. That's the rule. Next time you see a band that's been around for more than ten years, and they play for less than two hours, wait for them outside after the show and tell them 'you guys fucking suck. I've been listening to you for ten fucking years, and you can't play for me for two fucking hours.' So, next time I'm too tired to play for two hours, come up to me and say 'Dave, you fucking suck.' and I'll go 'okaaay, I'll play for another half an hour or whatever.... At this point, The Rolling Stones should be playing eight hour concerts, y'know?" If only every band thought like this haha!

Sometimes they don't even play for 90 minutes ,especially when they are 10 minutes late. But yes considering they charge bout £35 now with 5 albums etc they should be playing longer or is it they aren't capable of playing longer sets !!Oooo controversial and it's not like there is only one person that can sing.If many bands can do a 2hr set and their performances are more full on such as Green Day ,Foos ,Biffy why can't they?I really thought they would have extended the set.Thats it rant over!!

So who's going to Glasto and who's going to watch at home and who's going to wait until it's uploaded somewhere so they can watch?
What are your setlist expectations, people? Looks like we might get a new cover as an intro to Take Aim (or even maybe performed separately) - it was soundchecked both at SBE and Plymouth.
