Looks like Olympia and Zenith are already booked for that night. Bataclan there is something but it doesn't start til after 11pm. I'm confliced. I adore the Bataclan but it would be tough for me to go and expensive...think I'd have to give this a miss maybe. What about others.

I'm actually not sure it is a gig anymore. Album title announcement and probably some tiny intimate gig for 10 contest winners or something.

I think the date is about the single, not a gig. It seems a bit early for warm up gigs, and various radio people have already tweeted that the single is coming out in May and will be played on the radio a few weeks before. Also, speculation about rumours and unconfirmed gigs should be kept in this thread, but since it looks pretty likely I'll leave this until we know for sure.

Does anyone know if French venues can handle e-tickets? We've had several bad experiences with German venues not really knowing what to do with them, and while everyone with a regular ticket was already being let in, they had to go find someone who knew where the scanner for the e-tickets was and how to operate it.

Also had good experiences with e-tickets in Germany and France. Seems like you had a lot of bad luck highroyds. It happened at Große Freiheit in Hamburg and Huxleys in Berlin. I think there might have been a third one. In Munich people got the option to swap their e-tickets for regular tickets while in the queue I think. You would think if they sell them like that they know what to do.

It happened in Berlin Astra to me too, where I was one of the first in the queue then was sent to the back of the building to have it scanned and they let the other 1000 people in. I was lucky my friends saved a space for me, but it was so stressful.

Do you expect an approx. normal length gig ? I was thinking about it too, because of the wording of the announcement: ' Kasabian will showcase new tracks from their upcoming album for the first time', like it's something only for new tracks. I don't know, I hope it's a full length gig. What do you think?

I hope so. I think if they would only play 5-7 new tracks from the album they would do it in some tv recording studio and not in a concert location. It's also the price for a normal concert ...
I assume some new tracks and some classics but that's just a guess.
