So basically the tour was a festival setlist. Was it a case of just get the crowd in to sell tickets and to show people Kasabian are still worth seeing without Tom? There’s so many old songs they could have still done Stuntman,Take Aim ,SS but still the same crappy Bless This and Psycho .For the people who saw them on the tour was this run of gigs worth it ?

I went to this gig. Had a good time (apart from some dicks in the crowd the last 5 songs) but it wasn’t as good as when I saw them in Bristol last year….I think that was due to the setlist though (even though they only played for an hour and five mins in Bristol!).
Setlist such a disappointment and it seems like you have to go to the first gig of the tour to get a full setlist…the further the tour goes on the more songs they drop. Three songs from the new album seriously?! I thought this was an AE tour?
Good things - Scriptvre was fantastic live, totally loved it. Serge was generally in great form the whole gig and is pulling off the frontman vibe with ease now.
Not so good things - Not enough new songs. Acoustic shortened Processed Beats/Cutt Off (very shortened) just didn’t really work, would have preferred to just have one of them in their full form. I couldn’t even tell at first they’d transitioned in to Cutt Off! Shortened Eez-Eh just needs to go away and never come back, as does You’re In Love With A Psycho and Bless This Acid House (which was by far the worse opening song after an encore I’ve ever seen, just dreadful). Treat outro is also too long now, felt like it went on forever and everyone around me had lost interest. Dropping Switchblade Smiles is about the worse thing though, that is always the highlight and missed that so much.
