this was one of the best gigs ever, genuinely. It was absolutely magical in every possible way, exciting, great setlist, they were loving it so much. Tom was genuinely in tears after the gig, Serge got very emotional before You Got the Love, talking about how they saw DJ Shadow there just after they were signed and was saying this is the best they've been in Brixton. I wish they keep this amazing spark and I think Tom was responsible for most of it, he was like Empire-era Tom - the bouncy, strong, loud frontman, he looked and sounded fantastic. I think we were all just speechless after the gig - it was extra special because this tour has been a bit of a strange one - I think everyone who was there would confirm there was magic in the air - pip, sundaygirl, flipflop, frencheezeh, joshman
Hearing You Got the Love made me tearful too, I love that intro so much, and it always reminds me of 2009, and had an amazing moment yesterday, when I mentioned it in the queue and they started soundchecking it right after I said they should play it with LSF, because they were soundchecking Bow smoothly merging into LSF (which was really lovely too to be honest, although I don't like Bow much).
Also I have mentioned it before again, but Processed Beats is so amazing with Tim, that song needed him for 10 years, it's so solid and delicious.
