What do you mean by "too nice to be a gig venue"? It's a venue which isn't just uses for gigs. They have conferences and other stuff at it too. Thanks for your answer! cuttoff, I hope this is not going to be another Utrecht hell, then... |

The only time I've been to a Scottish gig was probably the best and most pleasant experience ever, I can't imagine it happening in the UK. The queues are far more organised here. Also can they announce it alreadyyyy. |

The Fringe will still be on, so Edinburgh wouldn't be a bad city to visit regardless during August. Is that why everything is so terribly expensive? I really want to see a No Such Thing As A Fish live show but they start on the 26th. Otherwise I would have reconsidered this trip. |

I've been told many people renting a flat/house there have to leave it during August because the owners make the big money during the Fringe. Many contracts are only for September till July. |

Since it says "special secret guests" all over the place I assume it wasn't supposed to be announced yet. But she probably didn't know. I hope it's true for those who are going, and it's a good cause.

From what I've heard it doesn't sound like they have recorded any of the new material with the whole band yet. So I'm not sure if they would play it live. I'd love to see them but it's too much of a risk for travel from Germany. And even if it's true, they might only play two songs or something. |
