I chose L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever), mainly because I have great memories of being at gigs and the crowd chanting while the band leaves the stage and during the break before the encore. It's like the entire crowd becomes one. You put your arm around the person next to you, whether you know them or not, and just sing your heart out.
One of my favourite memories is leaving the venue after the first time I saw Kasabian and the entire crowd chanting LA-LA-LAAAAAAAA LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LAAAAA walking up the roads to their cars, to the train station or to pubs. It was amazing!

I wish LSF would go back to being the last song of the set, it's one setlist change I can't get used to. LSF singalongs were so special and Fire reprise never became that euthoric, magical moment like LSF was.

I really don't really know why, but it has to be "Processed Beats". Maybe it's the, yeah, beat!

"L.S.F." my first song of Kasabian, I saw a video when I was 14, it was on DVD with another rock music videos, and I totally fell in love with the band. But in my city we don't have a good music stores, and internet in 2005 was very slow and expensive, just no ways to get album for me. Only in 2008 I've got CD (Kasabian and Empire), but while I don't got 'em, I re-watched a "L.S.F." video for a billion times ;D What a nice memories...

Processed Beats, L.S.F. and Butcher Blues. Processed Beats cause i simply can't get enough of it (well, that counts for all their songs really), but it was the first song i've ever heard that opened up my ears to them (although i only started bying their albums when i heard Empire ). L.S.F. is one of my fave live-songs ever. Butcher Blues has only been in my top 3 faves of this album since last year, i created a whole new love for that song, the lyrics and the music, especially the music, it just hypnotises me!

Ugh I love when this happens and you suddenly rediscover a song you've known for ages. Butcher Blues is such a beauty, I hope they'll play it live one day.

I love it that so many of the songs from the first album still feature in live sets. In some cases the live versions have become even better than the album version - one of my favourites is ID with the longer live intro - with the added bonus of Serge doing his little dance!

I must say Club Foot, Processed Beats and L.S.F., before I bacame a fan last year these songs were all I knew about Kasabian. I love their debut album, I'm listening to it right now. Cutt Off, U Boat and Oh-My-God Ovary Stripe are my favourites currently. I hope for more electronic and some instrumentals in the 5th album

I don't think I've even had a chance to sit down and think what's my favourite song on Kasabian. Cutt Off was the second song of them I've heard and it immediately stole my heart. The song started and was all 'we're meant for each other, look no further'. A bit like an arranged marriage with a jealous husband basically.
I love Club Foot because it's a monster, the first big song, never gets old, never gets boring, with that huge scary intro. Apparently it's a love song. Butcher Blues is another favourite because it was the first song that made me love them and Tom's voice is so perfect there (when I heard it for the first time and didn't know much about them, I was pretty sure 2 different people sing it and the deep voice in the chorus belongs to Serge).
PB is amazing too, I think one of the most perfect songs musically (I love the demo version a bit more probably), it's so funky, so delicious and you can hear that they had a real drummer for that song instead of a machine or part-timers. Ovary Stripe is another special one, it's so good live, I wish they'd play it now too. Debut albums don't come any better really.

These are 13 of my favorite, most-played songs of all time - so it's hard to pick even 3 without feeling like I'm excluding others. I went with Cutt Off, Ovary Stripe, and U Boat.
Although I like the single edit of Cutt Off more than the album version, I can't help voting for it. It maybe my #1 favorite song of all time.
Ovary Stripe is truly amazing, far and away my favorite instrumental song of all time. I'll never forget when I first discovered it, it blew me away like no other song had or has since.
U Boat was one of the songs that took me a while to really fall in love with, but once I did, I have a deep, deep appreciation for that song. Kind of like the way some of you guys are talking about Butcher Blues. The ending is the best part, with the bass and synths that sound like a submarine...Stuntman has the similar electronica-sounding intensity and it's really quite the experience.

Although I like the single edit of Cutt Off more than the album version, I can't help voting for it. It maybe my #1 favorite song of all time. It's my favourite song too and I have about 10 million opinions and feelings about it, which can't be summarised in one post, but I'm forever torn between the album and single versions. The single version is more delicious and sharper but I don't know what to do about the outro which is probably my favourite bit in the song. I wish the outro was attached to the single version, it would have been perfect. I really should make a Cutt Off thread and have long monologues about it there.
