I got really excited when I saw this post being shared.
I don't care what anyone thinks about it. For me, this is just outstanding. I am sure this will grow on me when I listen to it in it's entirety and over a hundred times (don't judge)
It did look like a plain pop song, wasn't that usual Serge's fuckery, but when the organ part came in, I smiled like a demon. There it was. What I have been waiting for. Ever since seeing that post on Instagram, I was sure it would be used in a calm song. But to see it claw it's way out towards the end. Oh, that's what I have been waiting for ❤😍😍😍
As for the missing lyric, it feels like Tom says "Kid, in the stand" but I can't be sure nor start another wave of mondegreens.

As usual,the oddities that happen with our beloved lads from Leicester :/ If it was on their account I wouldn't even be surprised anymore, they probably posted it by accident... but a big franchise like FIFA? But as oriar said, it's still on Instagram and Facebook, so it probably doesn't mean anything happened. We thought maybe they realised they tagged @kasabian instead of @kasabianhq, but then they could have simply reposted a corrected version. I noticed that they tweeted the full video of another exclusive soundtrack song yesterday, maybe that's going to happen with Comeback Kid too. Does these lyrics make any sense? If not, it seems that the crazy lyrics from the debut album might be back, which makes me smile... a lot! I really like this song, of course I am desperately waiting for the full version, but so far it's very exciting. |
