It was lovely to meet you and your husband in person too, frencheezeh! After those stairs all the venues will seem so easy Hope to see you soon again, maybe at the gig you discovered?

Are you coming to this one jayfreeman? Someone mentioned there is a support after all, but I don't know who it is. Yes, i was there! Sorry for late reply, but i do not use mobile devices and we were already on our way at the time;) And got back yesterday evening. But i was there of course. Ronda is not my favourite venue in Holland to be honest, but when Kasabian starts playing you forget about everything!

frencheezeh! MY DARLING! What an adventure. I have to admit the hideous queue experience at Tivoli is already becoming a distant memory. All I can remember now is the magic of that gig. The venue itself was beautiful. I'll upload my photos to Flickr for anyone who is interested but I warn you they are definitely inferior to the beautiful ones already posted. But here is one that I am particularly proud of. A very lucky shot of the Wizard Sergio leaning over me during LSF.

Sounds like you had a good time, still not sure at all that Stevie is fitting to open an encore. Have you seen it live like that? It was very impressive in Brixton with only the strings, Gary and Tim, very dramatically lit from behind. It gets a big reaction from the crowd as well. No, so I will have to take your word for it, although SS was massive when I saw it opening the encore, still not sure It can be matched...

Someone uploaded the whole show on Youtube: hereI recognized some people at the barrier ! Do you think there will be a possibility of finding a proper bootleg for this gig (and the Groningen one too)? I would so much love to have it.

About Stevie as an opener for an encore, it's funny but when they first started using it as one I wasn't so sure I liked it. I preferred it earlier in the set and at first it felt funny having it as an encore, but it's grown on me now. I especially liked the Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid trailer intro in Utrecht, that was quite cool and a bit quirky! I tried finding the trailer on youtube and I found longer versions with the same narrator but not exactly that one. It could be the one they used was just for radio? Not sure.
I remember at iTunes they used Empire as the encore opener and I loved that! It's nice that they change it around occasionally.
