They're both such big songs, but I love Treat more, it's majestic. Tbh I thought it'll do better than it's doing now.

Reason is Treason was probably not the first Kasabian song I heard, but it was the one that made me stop and go "hang on what's that" and get the album immediately. Still one of my favourites. Treat is lovely though, such a beautiful spectacle live.

If there was to be a Kasabian greatest hits album then there would be a good few from their debut. I'm not sure as many tracks from 48:13 will be as popular after 10 years.

Sent from my HTC One using proboards I think you are wrong here. I think 48:13 will be the most popular album of the current 5 in 10 years. It is just a little ahead of time - just as the first album was 10 years ago.

I think it's still very new and most of the songs haven't really sunk in. There were probably songs on Empire that weren't that well received at the time, but became fan favourites over the years. Some of the new ones haven't even been played live yet, they're not as familiar as the old classics.

They've changed as a band and don't have that need raw and in your face sound. Sent from my HTC One using proboards
