Hi all, I've been putting in some time on a niche Tumblr page dedicated to live shows. It's where I've focused my geek energy onto since the Paradise numbers thing has gone a little AWOL, and Highroyds was nice enough to suggest a thread to mention it. Here it is, kasabianontour.tumblr.com/Basically, it's a separate post for every confirmed gig, acoustic session, website session and TV appearance the band have done since the beginning. I've also added a list for the gigs that might be a little easier to navigate, located at kasabianontour.tumblr.com/fullgiglistSo if you've got any memories about gigs you went to, songs that are incorrect, or little snippets they threw into songs, please let me know by clicking "Submit Info" at the top! Any info at all is cool, as I'd like it to be as detailed as possible for each gig. Enjoy.

Looks great, and like a lot of work, wow! I'll be going through the ones I attended and the ones I have recordings of and send you anything that catches my attention. We'll post a link on Empire as soon as there's a quiet moment, right now everything is extremely busy, I don't want it to get buried between lots of other things.

Wow. That's super neat. Congrats on getting it done!
I did a similar thing a couple of months back (not Kasabian related) and the 9 years worth of archive was a nightmare to put together at first.

Just been updating the full gig list to reflect cancellations. For the most part, the band have been fairly lucky. The majority are festivals going bust or whatnot. It's only really been the last few years that entire legs have been scrapped (Japan 2010, South America 2012) and the Luxembourg/Columbiahalle double re-schedules.
Does anyone have any info on dates in Australia in August 2009? The swine flu thing seemed to wipe out some gigs, but I can't find any info beyond an acoustic showcase somewhere.

Berlin 2012 was only rescheduled once. It was originally in March, Tom got ill, and the venue staff told us the date in June immediately after announcing that the gig was cancelled. There was a lot of nonsense in 2009/10 though. I get it if it happens because of illness, like South America, that was terribly unfortunate, but it's a fact that during the West Ryder era several gigs were cancelled for really shitty reasons like award shows, and that one time they went to the F1 thing instead. And Pinkpop 2012 was cancelled because Serge wanted to play football. That reminds me, there was an Amsterdam gig on 27 October 2009 that was cancelled and moved to February 2010. I can't find anything about Australia either and I don't remember. I found several articles saying they announced a small promo tour in August, but nobody lists any dates. Maybe cassabian knows? For things like this it would be amazing to have the old forum archived somewhere.

Cheers for this. A lot I didn't know about Kasabian, example being that they played at Glasgow Barrowlands in 2004.

They played The Garage and King Tuts twice each previously in 2004 and by the time 2005 came around, the #4 album and several charting singles meant it was Carling Academy in '05. Be weird seeing them in somewhere other than the S.E.C.C. this December. Quite gotten used to the freezing trip to see them there! That said, you could chuck a trainer the distance between the two venues.

No date in Denver this autumn too.

Just an idea stannis, would you want to add which intros they've played for let's roll? It's mainly been the Et theme / the original but they've been a few interesting ones. I can make a list from my bootlegs if you want to.

stannis is it yourself who keeps a record of all their setlists? It is, aye! Counting gigs that I can find an exact date for, they'll play their thousandth gig in summer 2015.
