Crazy that a US release date can be months after a uk, etc. one. Thank god for the leak now, eh?

I can't find an official source but according to several articles published today the album is coming out on October 7 on Harvest Records.

Interesting. Harvest Records are eventually (if you go up enough levels)owned by Universal Music Group. Kasabian used to be on Columbia, a Sony Music label.
UMG are the biggest of the "Big Three", so that's a good step up for the U.S. promotion you'd think. Harvest appears to be an old prog-rock label from the 60s that's been revived fairly recently. Morrissey's U.S. releases are handled by Harvest too.

The album can be pre-ordered in North America now, you'll get Bumblebeee and Eez-Eh immediately. The release date is 7 October 2014.

Just have found the info about US 2LP of 48:13 released by Harvest - >discogs.com<The release date (Oct 27) is mentioned >here at amazon.com<Btw, it's not mentioned if it's 10" or 12", will see. If it's 12" then it's the 1st 12" in Kasabian commercial discography! EDIT: just got a reply from the guy who contributed the info about the US vinyl of 48:13: "Yep, it's definitely on 12" Gatefold 12" 48:13 must look cool! Hope Harvest will re-release earlier vinyl albums on 12" some day. Here is the link to >Amazon Canada<

I don't think they would have a completely different release when the 2x10" already exists, especially in a country where hardly anyone knows them. And on Discogs it lists four sides. They could probably fit more than two songs on one side of a 12".

Everything i've read so far points to the US release been on full 12" vinyl, there's nothing to indicate it's a 10"

Looks like it's definitely a 12" - had a long discussion with an American ebay seller who confirmed it. Couldn't resist and bought it, should have it within 2 weeks. Still find it very strange, although the ebay guy is saying that double 10" are the most difficult format to sell for some reason and maybe that's why Harvest is releasing it on 12". He was actually surprised when I told him that all the Kasabian albums are 10".
