Looking forward to this tomorrow. The media need to get over the whole Tom isn't in the band now. It's a bit infuriating for the guys who are still in the band. Kasabian always evolved from album to album and the unpredictability made them so special.

I'm sorry to spoil you but I need to pour my heart out about my first take on Happenings
How Far Will You Go - fastest track they've ever done. Super punk without losing their electronic sound and I'm sure it will bothers a lot of people, more than Rocket Fuel but I like it.
G.O.A.T - the closest we get to AE. Those who like Scriptvre would like this one straightaway. My favorite so far.
Passengers - very pop-y verse and there's chant-y part like Algorithms - which I'm not a fan but the chorus makes the save.
Hell Of It - this is a weird one. Starts with guitar then goes with EDM beats and there's this 80's vibes synths elements.
Italian Horror - super dancey although not a fan of the chanting part but I like the way the switching tempo in this.
Bird in a Cage - they go industrial which is exciting. a grower.
Overall it's an interesting record. I mean they can go from super fast-paced punk to summer tune to EDM to industrial. I believe it won't satisfy most of rock warriors but as a longtime fan, this record shows that my favourite band can keep me guessing what direction they're heading.

Passengers is so good jdhfgsjdhfgjsh. I'm so happy there's a non-single I love because on Alchemist all my favourites were the ones we already knew.
I like that Goat is nice and melodic but the lyrics are a bit cringe. A few of them are rather basic. I don't understand how he wrote something like U Boat when he was basically a teenager and now we get "I brush my teeth, I comb my hair, we're all in this together"
I owe an apology to Algorithms, it's not that bad. When it came out I really disliked it and I never listened to it again. It still bothers me that it's the closer. The Doberman, Neon Noon, PYLOI... and this is the best you could come up with for that slot?
It's kind of a mixed bag right now, but with an upward trend, if that makes sense. I feel like it will grow on me more than Alchemist, although there's a lot on Alchemist that I enjoy. It does have big summery vibes. I don't know if I'm the problem, because something like How Far Will You Go does nothing for me, but it's also kind of the Apnoea of this album, I like Apnoea, is it the song, is it me, is it the whole situation?
