I wish they would announce something concrete so I can make the subforum for this era.
I like that it's (presumably) black and white and minimalistic because that's like the debut and it's kind of a fresh start.

So I don’t think we’re getting a single tomorrow then! Still radio silence from them….

I wonder where Filter get their info. Because Alygatyr leaked with a cover, this one just had a placeholder. So if they have access to some kind of database, maybe it was initially meant to come out tomorrow, so it said April 22 somewhere, and then it was changed for some reason? Although Alygatyr was announced at 7pm CET. There's still hope.

So now release date for Scriptvre is apparently 6th May…. Why have they delayed it?

Tom released a video today, but I don't feel like that's significant enough for them to delay their single two weeks. I get why they didn't want Alygatyr to come out on the same day last year, but this seems pretty minor.
Sometimes releases are delayed when an artist really wants a #1 but Ed Sheeran is putting something out on the same day which means nobody else has a chance. I've also heard of labels moving releases when a similar artist is releasing something and they don't want two songs with electronic rock vibes in the same week. Not sure if any of that would apply here. Maybe the schedule just changed for some other reason.

Someone on Reddit posted that the new release date for Scriptvre is May 6. There surely was a link but now it's gone. https://www.reddit.com/r/kasabian/comments/u9fq48/scriptvre_single_may_6/

It's from Filter, the VK group that also leaked the Alygatyr cover and release date 10 days early, that's why everyone assumed it was true. I don't know what their sources are, I don't think they intentionally lied, it was probably just moved for whatever reason.

I wasn't following the topic for a while, so I've got another question: where does the title 'Alchemist' come from? I saw the tweet from Kasabian Brasil, but that's it.

I've just realised that V in SCRIPTVRE is actually U, like in CHVRCHES. I am so slow these days.

Alchemist is hidden in the "code" as well. Third row from the left, starts second from the top. There's also the number 801 twice, which might mean something.

So what is Æ? Rip all of us having to copy and paste that forever if it's a song or album title.
Also they're replying to comments lol I've never seen that before. Boost that engagement kings!

Well, if they're naming something 'SCRIPTVRE', which means a sacred writing, Æ also goes back to the history of Latin. I'm just trying to be logical here. Doubt it will be useful, though.

I just thought, if both 'SCRIPTVRE' and 'ALCHEMIST' are present on this teaser image (two times each), could it be a joint title? Like ALCHEMIST SCRIPTVRE. It even makes a bit of sense. Edit. I've also come across this - In numismatics, "Æ" is used as an abbreviation for "bronze," derived from the Latin aes (aere in the ablative, "from bronze"). Edit 2. Also, according to this alchemical symbols chart blahblah posted, their website icon appears to be 'the air' symbol.
