I'm not sure if the song is supposed to have anything to do with the genre. The title comes from this poster, which seems like a play on the "god bless this home" signs you might find in religious households. After hearing it I thought of the acid house as more of a (metaphorical) place than the musical genre.

Oh right. All this time I've been expecting a full on Acid House song!

Sounds good on first listen, can imagine it growing like the others. Sounds very pop-punk.

That's a bit more like it, I have better hopes for the full album now as long as the tunes are more along the same as this.
Also took the opportunity to download those 2 performances in glorious full HD, it's great with all these free tools kicking around these days.

Good god. Sounds like a poor imitation of Greenday, does it not? I feel genuinely sad to the pit of my stomach that the lads I've idolised since 15-16 are now fully-blown pop-rock

Wow this is already stuck in my head. Great tune! Can't wait to hear the studio version so I can better hear the lyrics and little flourishes that got buried in the surprisingly muddled mix last night

I like it! Very happy go lucky. Comeback kid is kind of postivie as well but a bit darker which is good. Hopefully there is a balance with dark and happy tunes. As for being too pop, well... yeah maybe, but its good pop. Theres respect you know, even yilwap (which has actually grown on me) has some anti radio elements lurking within. (acid).. kind of don't like the drum stop silence in the 2nd verse, its a bit too "hey hey catchy" but otherwise i think this is good. Bumblebee had a kind of drum thing in 2nd verse as well which worked perfectly ( still my absolute fave among kasabian. never been able to stop listining to bumblebeee ^^) And we've got 8 min track coming and that just cant be a pop tune, can it? I dont know. Comeback kid wins so far for me.

Again, another grower. Waiting for the studio version on Spotify so that I can hear it well. I can totally imagine the chorus being sung out loud at tests and gigs. Especially the "she said" part of the song.
Sucks that people are calling them pop rock and stuff. They're far better than this. And most of us who listen to them know it all too well.
And being better than this is a comparison to it being less electronic and curiosity inducing songs

If you compare the music that enchanted so many back then to what it is now, it's like chalk and cheese. I still love Kasabian and always will, but you cannot deny this new stuff is a shadow of their back catalogue.

Tom's been through a lot, they've all had quite an astonishing 2016, so yes. I can't wait for the album to come out. Will show a lot about them.

I'll suggest Green Day covering a non-existent Springsteen cut.

Quite a catchy tune, definetly a grower That bit when the synth comes in (around 3:08) is very cool

Kasabian:The never-ending hit machine! What a lovely happy song:D Btw,many people get a Green Day vibe from this, which I don't get. Stones and Springsteen on the other hand, that's more like it.
