"[Album] sounded like someone gave a bunch of bush acid to the Pigeon Detectives, set them loose in Marrakech with a James Bond DVD collection and told them to make a Kasabian record."
*If you have seen the article and know for sure what this was about, maybe let others have a guess first!

Velociraptor! I remember reading the review and wondering what album the reviewer accidentally played instead of it. One of the worst descriptions of one of the greatest albums ever made

Velociraptor! I remember reading the review and wondering what album the reviewer accidentally played instead of it. One of the worst descriptions of one of the greatest albums ever made I understand that someone could dislike Velociraptor! for some reason (like lack of musical taste), but this description doesn't fit Velociraptor! in ANY way. I wonder why people put this kind of stupidity on record.

The whole article was a bit stupid, but I'm always on the lookout for weird or funny descriptions of their music for this thread, no matter if they're accurate or not.

The only song fitting that description in a massive stretch is Acid Turkish Bath, and that's due the fact it sounds a bit like Arab music (I live in Israel, I recognize the violin sound in a second).
