I think they'd have been better off leaving 48:13 vinyl out of the vinyl re-issue bundle as that's not a re-release. Totally agree. And it would have been cheaper that way. I just ordered the signed deluxe but can't stop looking at the vinyls. Do you think the sound quality will be very different? Also really want to know what's the situation with paradise numbers. Don't think the reissues will have them but hopefully they remembered for Stevie and the deluxe this time.

I've not heard anything about them been re-mastered, so for now we have to assume they are exactly as the original pressings in terms of quality, possibly even pressed from the same master pressings. As for the Paradise numbers, I believe they're going to be the same as the originals.

The West Ryder vinyl on Discogs has its original number. Giving them new numbers would have been pretty outrageous.

The West Ryder vinyl on Discogs has its original number. Giving them new numbers would have been pretty outrageous. On a par with the Live! London release having one each for DVD, Blu-Ray, CD/DVD and CD/Blu-Ray! My eyes watered that fateful day in Tesco. I opted for the signed deluxe edition. Bit disappointed that it's not a Blu-Ray however, considering the Vevo uploads are in HD.

The description on the official site says 'The deluxe includes the original album with two bonus tracks and a live DVD/CD of their groundbreaking gig in Leicester this summer.'
Doesn't this sound like the CD of the gig will be available too?

Looks like the deluxe edition or just the regular album are not available in the States through MPD - keep seeing people complaining about it

doesnt this change the title then? 56:10; His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber. It's a conspiracy! Anyways, I guess the five min behind scene (with it being five min n that...) is the "road to lestah" vid on youtube? :/

Anyways, I guess the five min behind scene (with it being five min n that...) is the "road to lestah" vid on youtube? :/ Disappointingly, yes. It seems to be just called "behind the scenes" everywhere now but it's listed as Road to Leicester here, with the same length. Which is a bit infuriating. It's a lovely little thing, but why put it on YouTube before? Why make people spend money on something they already have? Or alternatively, if they didn't really know about the DVD yet at the time they put the video online (because it was a bit messed up as usual, we were told something completely different, an hour later Tom is on the radio announcing it will definitely come out...) maybe put something else on it, some footage from the making of the album, some demos, Serge's selfies, I don't care, but something new.

'48:13 deluxe" is really an awful name considering they could do 56:10, would make much more sense.
You really need to enjoy Kasabian's music to be a truly fan, because the band apparently doesn't want to make you more and more fanatic for them. It's a shame.

Well, it is the same album, so of course they'll want people to find both versions when they search for "48 13". I'm more miffed that they did not offer the version with the extra tracks right away and sell the DVD seperately. Not that that would be the first twice bought album by a beloved band, but usually I like to have the choice.

I think I'm just really over this whole mess by now, but I don't think it makes much of a difference. A standalone DVD would cost about the same as the package we're getting now, if not more. Of course it would have been so much nicer to get the deluxe with something else (I don't know what they could have used, HRC? TCT? A mix of several 2013 gigs?) right away and then the Leicester DVD on top of it for Christmas. But the way it is now, we had Beanz and Gelfling anyway, because let's face it, they weren't going to have different b-sides for the singles, even if the deluxe had been available immediately. So now all that's left is a DVD and a "free" album that is very pointless because there's nothing new on it. I saw people asking for a refund for the CD they already bought, but I think if Leicester was coming out on DVD or Blu-ray instead we'd be paying more. I can't even consider it ripping off the fans by re-releasing it, because that would have required at least one person to have actual thoughts about it and possibly including an extra unreleased track so all the collectors begrudgingly buy it again. But this is just... there.
Everytime I see the band getting excited about Harvest because they actually care about them unlike their previous US label, I just think awesome, and when are you doing this in the UK?
