Well, i am still thrilling. And i think i gained some gray hairs tonight... I can imagine! Even I got some grey hair during the extra time. Well deserved though, and lots of respect to Costa Rica.

What the fuck's going on here? Brazil would get relegated from the Scottish Premiership like that! A stramash!

Well, Germany deserves the final, no questions here, but i expected some fight from Brazil. My prediction was 1:0 or 2:1 for Germany.

Just closed all windows. Quite noisy on Germany's streets.

Huge Congratulation to all German fans for this victory! This might be the most deserved winner of all the big tournaments i followed (starting from 1988).

I'm not much of a football person but I usually watch the World Cup, this year I got really into it and ended up watching almost all of the games, so seeing Germany win was extra lovely.

Well, if you are not a football person, you probably don't realise completely the full extend of this success;) But to get you on track - consider this: World Cup is far away the most difficult price to win in the whole world of sport. Even qualify for WC finals is a big success, but winning it is virtually impossible. Brazil is the best example of it. But this is also the reason why more than one team feel themselves like a winner: Columbia, USA, Algeria, Nigeria, Costa Rica - they all feel almost like champions. But of course there is only one real Champion, that is why (if you feel connected to Germany) feel free to celebrate like crazy;)

Good luck to Aberdeen, St. Johnstone and Motherwell tonight. Be great to see another club besides Celtic progress beyond European qualifying.

Emmm... you are not sarcastic, are you? I didn't mean to be patronising if it looks this way. It is just that WC envokes a lot of emotions, i am still not completly over it. And you seemed to be moderately glad, so i just tried to shake you up a little;) If it seems misplaced, just forget i said anything.
