I thought that Vlad the Impaler would be the pinnacle of single release self-sabotage, but eez-eh is the new king. It's as if the label is allergic to the Top 40 and actively trying to avoid it.

Has anyone actually tried to preorder it from iTunes because I have a feeling they still mean Explodes. It just says "get a track now." and then "Eez-Eh." but that's just really strangely worded if they mean you're getting Eez-Eh with the preorder. Maybe they just put Eez-Eh because that's their new thing to say now, like Empire? Reaching for straws but something about it sounds funny.

I'm a bit confused, so Eez-eh is supposedly the first single but maybe giving it away in ITunes and if it is the new single Id thought it might consist of a signed vinyl on the Kasabian website. And when is the actual release of the single?.Nothing seems straightforward this time round or it's just probably me.

I think it's probably a promotions panic... Seems like everything has happened way to fast for there to be any real impact... Like, why was "16.06.14" posted, then the album gets scheduled for release on 9/6? I dunno... We're gonna get the album, and they're gonna do more than enough promotion just by headlining Glasto. Hopefully all that makes up the sales... So long as they're releasing good music, I don't really mind.

I told you earlier that I have a feeling that it might be Explodes too, now I'm convinced about it, they don't mean the song Eez-Eh, but it's ~Eez-Eh~ to preorder or whatever. Sorry everyone for my earlier misleading post.

NewsletterI sent an email, just heard back, still not sure. Waiting for clarification on whether the vinyl is signed. Probably not, but with them, by now, you never know.

I wasn't really sure which topic to post in, so I'll put it here...
Do you think our boys will finally crack the US market with 48:13, in the same way that AM did for Arctic Monkeys?

If they do, I'd say that it would be more down to the Glasto performance (as with Arctics)... But quite possibly. Maybe not to MSG standard, but I reckon they'll start being known more. Selling out 2k+ venues at least. You gotta remember that AM have Alex, who attracts the 13 year old fangirls with his slick hair haha

It always feels like the 'media against us' thing as Tom said. Misleading stuff, clear confusion, programators releasing tracklist like a dumb fuck, misleading (attention seeking) posts/articles based on one line based on a demo, whatever happened to the media of this generation?

I agree with lsf ,it will be the Glasto performance whether they will crack America or not and they probably know this as well.As you know America is a strange place when it comes down to music.I mean for Coldplay ,Mumfords ,1D and not to sure bout Bastille but they all fall into that same sort of category which is known as Shit. And unfortunately I can't see it happening but I hope they prove me wrong.

Meh, I am aware that everyone has their taste of music, but America's taste of music is awkward in my opinion. You never know what may pop up in the top 10 list

Meh, I am aware that everyone has their taste of music, but America's taste of music is awkward in my opinion. You never know what may pop up in the top 10 list Maybe it is not because of the taste, but marketing. US musical market reacts to whatever is promoted better, it has been like this for years. So if you call it popular, it will become more popular. There are people in US of course who are looking for their own music, but looks like they are not in majority. The most of them just pick what they find in top lists on youtube, MTV or spotify. So i would not even bother to crack American market at all - it is just not worth while.
